Yixing is located in the extreme south of Jiangsu province, near Anhui and Zhejiang, to the west of Lake Taihu. Yixing is well known as “capital of ceremics，world of holes，oasis of tea and sea of bamboo. It is "China Excellent Tourism city".宜兴位于江苏省最南，与安徽、浙江接壤，在太湖以西 以”陶的古都，洞的世界，茶的绿洲，竹的海洋”著称，是“中国优秀旅游城市”。Dingshu town is one of the largest and oldest centers of Chinese ceramic productions, and it is still important today. Purple Clay Teapots from Yixing are very famous. The raw material is purple clay. 丁蜀镇镇是中国最大、最古老的陶瓷生产中心之一，至今仍占据重要地位。宜兴的紫砂壶十分有名，其原材料为紫砂泥。
