艺术不只制造出美丽,我制造粗陋;或许我不懂得美丽的含义。如果说绘画是一种精神错乱的女性疾病,那么所有女性都是疯狂的画家。Art not only creates beauty, I create coarseness; Maybe I don't know the meaning of beauty. If painting is a mental disorder of women, then all women are crazy painters.![](http://image109.360doc.com/DownloadImg/2021/12/2717/236664813_3_20211227050613489)

MARLENE DUMAS: AT HELSINKI FESTIVALKunsthalle Helsinki Helsinki, FI Finland
During the Helsinki Festival, Kunsthalle Helsinki will offer a unique opportunity to see works by one of the hottest names in contemporary art, Marlene Dumas. The show presents an exceptionally broad retrospective of the artist's production from the 1970s up to the present. Born in South Africa in 1953, Dumas lives and works in the Netherlands. She is known for her masterful watercolours and subtle portraits. Her work enjoys an established status in major art museums and galleries and fetch unprecedented prices at auctions. Dumas' work is currently on exhibit at the main venue of the Venice Biennial. Exhibitions of her work have been relatively rare in the Nordic countries, and the present show is the largest of its kind here. ![](http://pubimage.360doc.com/wz/default.gif)

Exhibition site for artists of Marlene Dumas Source of materia:The Museum of Modern Art Archives I don't admire only one type of woman - I love many types of women. But it's also not only about reaching to interpreting images of women, it's also about the joy of creating beings that do not exist in real life. It's more about the pleasure, but will always stay unknown. -Marlene Dumas
