CAST-DESIGNER v7.6 是主要发布版本。新版本加入了十多项新功能。主要的改进和新的发展包括：

适用于所有铸造过程的 QuickCast （快速浇口评估）

凭借创新技术，“QuickCast”可以在几秒钟内模拟内浇口的金属流动，并可用于浇注系统设计期间的铸造区评估。现在，该技术已得到增强并应用于HPDC、LPDC、重力铸造、触变铸造、消失模铸造和迪砂铸造。

更重要的是，基于 GA 的自动优化也已集成到 QuickCast环境中，只需单击几下即可帮助找到最佳设计。

浇注系统的新设计方法

现在每个人都可以进行流道系统设计了！“Auto Runner”和“Auto Merge”技术让设计工作变得如此简单！

在 Cast-Designer V7.6 中，“AutoRunner”可以使流道连接顺畅灵活。它提供了用于继续以下设计工作的快速指南。“自动合并”可以自动切割子流道并控制流道截面区域。

在 Cast-Designer 中设计浇注系统不仅速度更快而且质量更高。

高级 CFD 求解器

高级 CFD 求解器的仿真速度和精度正在提高。修正了最终填充区域的计算方法，CPU时间更短，计算速度比之前更快。此外，离心铸造模拟也得到了增强，并可以应用于立式和卧式离心铸造工艺。

C3P微结构模型

为热处理、焊接工艺、铸造工艺和其他热机械工艺设计了一种新的微结构模型。可用于多种合金，如铁、钢、铝等。这种方法的优点是不需要每种材料的CCT和TTT曲线，适用于较宽的冷却速率范围。

使用 C3P 微结构模型，可以在 Cast-Designer 中模拟热应力、机械接触应力和相应力。

用于铸造性能模拟的新 CDPE 界面

制造工艺对铸件性能的影响越来越受到人们的关注，这是产品进行真实性能仿真的重要阶段。Cast-Designer中的 CDPE 模块变是执行此操作的简单方法。现在，CDPE界面已经重新规划，操作比以前更简单。CDPE 应用的材料数据库在软件包中的作用也至关重要。

【HongKong– 15th JULY, 2021】– C3P Software, a pioneersupplier of CAX & PLM solution for industrial manufacturing processes,announced today to launch the newest version of the design, simulation, andoptimization solution- Cast-Designer V7.6.

CAST-DESIGNER 7.6 is a major release version. Morethan ten new functions have been incorporated into the new version. The majorenhancements and the new developments include:

QuickCast for allcasting process

With innovative technology, the 'QuickCast' can simulatethe metal flow by the inner gate in a few seconds and can use for casting zoneevaluation during the gating system design. Now, this technology has beenenhanced and applied for HPDC, LPDC, gravity casting, Thixo-casting, lost foamcasting,  and Disa casting.

More ever, GA base automatic optimization also has beenintegrated into the QuickCast environment and helps find the best design in afew clicks.

New design approachfor gating system

Everybody can make a gating system design now! The 'AutoRunner' and 'Auto Merge' technology makes the design work so easy!

In Cast-Designer V7.6, the 'Auto Runner' can make therunner connection smooth and flexible. It provides a quick guideline to use tocontinue the following design work. The 'Auto merge' can cut the sub-runner andcontrol the runner section area automatically.

Design the gating system in Cast-Designer is not onlyfaster but also high quality.

Advance CFD Solver

The simulation speed and accuracy of the advanced CFDsolver are improving. The calculation method for the final filling region hasbeen revised,  and the CPU time is fasterthan before. Also, the simulation of the centrifugal process has been enhanced.It could be applied to both horizontal and vertical casting processes.

C3P microstructure model

Anew microstructure model has been designed for the heat treatment, weldingprocess, casting process, and other thermal-mechanical processes. It could beemployed to a wide range of alloys, such as iron, steel, aluminum, etc. Theadvantage of this method is not required the CCT and TTT curve for eachmaterial, and suitable for a wide cooling rate range.

With the C3P microstructure model, the thermal stress, mechanical contact stress,and phase stress are possible to simulate in Cast-Designer.

New CDPE interfacefor casting performance simulation

More people pay attention to the casting performanceaffected by the manufacturing process. It is an important stage for the realsimulation of the virtual prototype. The CDPE module in Cast-Designer is theeasy way to perform this. Now, the CDPE interface has been re-organized and theoperation is simpler than before. A material database for CDPE application isalso acute in the software package.
