Uridine is part of the formula for Souvenaid, a mixture that research shows promise for treating Alzheimer’s disease. Here are the ingredients. Eicospentaenoic acid, 300 mg Docosahexaenoic acid, 1200 mg Phospholipids 106 mg Choline, 400 mg Uridine monophosphate, 625 mg Vitamin E (alpha-tocopherol equivalents), 40 mg Selenium, 60 µg Vitamin B12, 3 µg Vitamin B6, 1 mg Folic acid, 400 µg I personally take choline, dha and uridine, more recently just to try it out. dha didn't seem to do much for me besides fishy burps. choline (as lecithin) had the most profound effect of the three. More alert and 'go get em' attitude. Dreaming definitely changed up. I would make sure to take it in the morning, because it did seem to keep me up at night, but taking in the morning, I seemed to crash after lunch. urindine at first made me tired. I like that this is in pill form, makes it easy to take it with you on the go. I did try a powder form of uridine under the tongue, it wasn't bad, just a salty taste. I cannot say if uridine has had an affect on me yet. If anything it is definitely not as noticeable as choline. I am working on getting all the pieces that make up Souvenaid, and taking that for a few months. I have everything now, and will be trying it out. I am mainly looking for being more focused and maybe a better memory.
