 新的一周，让我们从思考翻译问题开始！ 本期译想不到，我们来探讨如何深入解读企业社会责任报告中的长句。 案例一 【原文】 在提供安全、健康乳制品的同时，某集团还积极探索与自然、社会、公众、行业合作伙伴的和谐共赢之路，带动企业责任理念在中国商界的普及。 【初译】 In pursuing its goal to offer safe and healthy dairy products, the Group is seeking collaboration with nature, society, people and our business partners for win-win outcomes, while promoting the concept of CSR among Chinese companies. 初译将“和谐共赢之路”模糊化，没有解读出“和谐”和“共赢”这两个词语的含义。 而且collaboration with nature/society/people这样的表述也有不妥。企业如何能与无形的nature和society进行合作呢？又如何与含义宽泛的people进行合作呢？ 这时需要深入解读，将含义显化。 企业社会责任报告中提及“自然”，大多是指绿色发展。因此，“与自然的和谐共赢之路”可以理解为“实施生态友好战略，推动互利共赢”； 而“社会、公众、行业合作伙伴”则是互利共赢成果的受益者。 所以，更合适的译文可以是： 【原文】 在提供安全、健康乳制品的同时，某集团还积极探索与自然、社会、公众、行业合作伙伴的和谐共赢之路，带动企业责任理念在中国商界的普及。 【参考译文】 In pursuing its goal of offering safe and healthy dairy products, the Group has sought nature-friendly solutions that yield win-win results for the society at large, the general public and its business partners, while promoting the concept of CSR across the business community in China. 案例二 【原文】 我们升级创新中心，开展“互联网+”和母婴生态圈建设，集合全球最优秀智力资源，构建全球创新网络。 【初译】 In addition, we have founded an innovation center, and build the eco-system for mom and baby using internet plus, creating an international innovation system that has attracted numerous top talent from around the world. 初译的结构如下： 1）将“升级创新中心”和“开展'互联网+’和母婴生态圈建设”这两个信息点并列，作为主句； 2）再用现在分词短语作结果状语，其中“集合全球最优秀智力资源”处理为了“全球创新网络”的定语，并且在此定语从句中使用了现在完成时has attracted。 实际上，“集合全球最优秀智力资源，构建全球创新网络”是企业过去在做，今后也会继续做的事情，用结果状语和现在完成时略有不妥。 “升级创新中心”和“开展'互联网+’和母婴生态圈建设”也并非并列关系：后者其实是前者的具体说明，最终目的是为了建成具备“全球最优秀智力资源”的“全球创新网络”。 这几个分句之间的逻辑关系参考如下图示：  所以，更合适的译文可以是： 【原文】 我们升级创新中心，开展“互联网+”和母婴生态圈建设，集合全球最优秀智力资源，构建全球创新网络。 【参考译文】 In addition, we have upgraded our innovation center focusing on the “internet plus” strategy and the initiative to build a maternal-child eco-system, as part of our efforts to create an international innovation network with the best talent resources collected from around the world. 参考译文用focusing on引出了“升级创新中心”的举措和焦点，用as part of our efforts to来表达具体措施和目的之间的关系，并且用with介词短语代替现在完成时，体现了“全球创新网络”的特点。 这样处理整句结构更为恰当，将原文隐含的逻辑关系都表达清楚了。 总结而言，面对企业社会责任报告中的长句，切勿被原文牵引，字字对应，而是要深入解读逻辑层次，呈现信息流畅、易于理解的译文。 本期内容就到这里啦。与译品译味共同学习，带你收获知识、扫除疑惑，离优秀译者的标准更进一步！ 文案：吴丽琴 排版：李泽慧 审定：马欣悦 刘俐雅 |
