If emergency generator start by compressed air only (one is from main air reservoir in engine room and another one is from emergency air reservoir in E/generator compartment) pls ensure emergency air reservoir is full ,without leakage from drain cock.

如果应急发电机启动只是用机舱间主空气瓶和应急发电机间应急空气瓶,请确保应急空气瓶是满的,同时气瓶放残伐能可靠关闭。

Dedicated rescue boat engine tested with water in drum. (Cooling water return to be sighted)

All lifeboat engines tested with primary & secondary starting device.

Dedicated rescue boat/life raft davit where fitted able to operate in main and emergency modes. All crew aware of operating same.

Engine room Vent flaps / Fire Dampers closing properly. (To close till retaining bracket without human interference). Where possible check condition of flap. In good condition not wasted.)

Engine room funnel flap operating as required and not wasted. (No light visible when closed)

Fire Safety

Check self-closing doors are closing fully, self-closing device functioning.

Fire doors must be closed. Should NOT have hold back hooks fitted.

Check the door between the steering gear and engine rooms is shut. MUST NOT be tied open, No Hooks and must not be secured in open position.

Fire door for galley and pantries to be closed. MUST NOT be tied open, No Hooks and must not be secured in open position.

Check that fire doors, cable passages DO NOT have holes drilled and DO NOT have latches / hooks fitted that affect fire e integrity of bulkhead.

11.

Emergency lighting inside accommodation and outside working properly.

生活区内外应急照明工作正常。

12.

ENGINE Room Rounds- Prior testing machinery below to make a round of Engine Room and verify following-No oily rags around machinery. General housekeeping in Engine room good. No oil-soaked lagging. No containers/cans below machinery to collect leakage, No visible leaks from machinery, pumps, valve spindles, etc. No hold back on fire doors.

No signs of leaks from pipelines (water, oil or steam).

机舱巡检-测试以下机器前巡检机舱并验证以下-机器周围没有油性抹布。机舱室内管理良好。没有油浸保温套。机器下面没有容器来收集漏油,没有机器、泵、阀门主轴等的可见泄露。防火门上没有固定开启装置。

SECTION 2. DOCUMENTATION

All Deck and Engineer Personnel Hours of Work and Rest in compliance with MLC&STCW requirements. Verified using checklist OF913 WRH. Check that there are no recording errors from the end of month records to the current date.

MLC - Seafarer agreements for officers and crew are within date and NOT expired.

Compass Error book records up to date – entries made in logbook or compass error book when unable to take a compass error and reason. Entry must be made for each watch when error cannot be taken. (Ex-Compasses compared. Unable to take compass error due to overcast (or rain/snow) sky.

SECTION 3: TO BE COMPLETED MASTER (2/O MUST DEMONSTRATE BELOW TO MASTER DURING INSPECTION)

VDR

Check that there are no alarms

Check proper retro-reflective material on VDR Capsule/ Case. No damage on capsule/ case.

SECTION 4: TO BE COMPLETED BY MASTER (C/E & 1/E SHOULD ASSIST DURING COMPLETING THIS SECTION)

第四节:要求船长完成(C/E&1/E 应协助完成本节)

1.

For UMS ships-record in Engine logbook that Engineers call button and dead man alarm (if fitted) weekly test.

对于UMS 船舶-轮机员呼叫按钮和死人警报(如果安装)每周测试记录到轮机日志中。

2.

Insulation matts must be provided in front and rear of medium power (i.e. 220V and above) electrical switchboards and must be in good order.

中功率(220V及以上)电器配电盘前后要提供绝缘垫,并保证完好。

3.

Isolation reading on 440 V & 220/120V switchboard satisfactory. No low isolation alarm.

440V和220/120V配电盘绝缘读数满意。没有低绝缘报警。

4.

Self-closing sounding devices to all double bottom tanks must be in good order, tightly closed and not inhibited. Pressure relief device fitted to it checked.

所有双层底舱的自闭探空装置必须完好,严密关闭且不被禁用。已检查其安装的减压装置。

5.

All external doors from engine room properly close d and device fitted to open padlocked door from inside (for safety/security) free to operate.

6.

Engineers must demonstrate knowledge and understanding of the chief engineers standing orders, instructions and the standing orders must be signed by all engineers.

7.

Engineers must be familiar with safe entry requirements to the machinery space when operating in the UMS mode, especially with regards to use of the dead man alarm and Rest Hours correct filling.

8.

The tray below Steering Gear mechanism to be clean and dry of oil. The oil collecting pots below hydraulic rams to be removed (if any). Check that an engineer is assigned the duty to check that the tray is free of oil after berthing and report made to C/E.

舵机下方的集油盘保持清洁干爽。液压活塞下方的集油罐(如有)要拆除。检查船舶靠泊后,指定轮机员负责检查集油盘无油,并向C/E报告。

9.

Oxygen and Acetylene cylinders must be stored apart, well secured, valve caps should remain on cylinders not connected for use. Flash back arrestors should be fitted at both the cylinders and work station in E/Room work shop.

氧气和乙炔钢瓶必须分开存放,固定好,阀门盖应留在未连接使用的钢瓶上。在机舱工作车间的钢瓶和工作站都应安装回火抑制器。

10.

Garbage containers to be fitted with appropriate covers, check proper segregation.

垃圾桶要安装适当的盖子,检查垃圾正确分类。

11.

Freezer compartment alarms checked, indicator lights working well and alarms sounds in galley and where fitted on bridge.

伙食冻库间的报警装置要检查测试,厨房和驾驶台的灯光/蜂鸣报警须工作正常。

TESTING OF OWS & 15PPM OIL CONTENT MONITOR(油水分离器和15ppm报警测试).

Full functional test of the OWS & 15PPM oil content monitor to be carried out.

抵港前油水分离器所有功能及15ppm 报警测试务必要做。

Ensure sample point is fixed on the vertical section of discharge line.

确认取样点在直立的排出管位置。

Ensure there is not option to feed sample line by clean water during operation (On some old ships it may be original design but is not acceptable now)

确认在油水分离器运行期间不能把清洁水接到取样管上(在一些旧船上有的设计是可以的,但现在规定不能接受)。

Fill the OWS with clean sea water.

油水分离器须充满清洁的海水。

When fully pressurised ensure the safety valve of OWS casing is operational and there is no leak from the oily water separator and associated pipeline / flanges.

当油水分离器充满水后须试验安全伐工作是否正常,同时检查各种相关的管系/法兰没有漏水。

Check the gauges to ensure it works properly.

检查确认压力表工作正常。

Operate all valves and drain cocks etc and confirm they are working properly.

检查油水分离器系统所有相关的阀门 ,确保其开关正常。

Operate steam valves and confirm valves are operational and there is no steam leakage on the gaskets .

特别是蒸汽阀,须确认其工作正常并没有蒸汽从法兰间泄漏。

Remove one section of the pipe on the overboard discharge line. Check the overboard

pipe if free from oil.

拆开一段出海管检查出海管内壁应无可见的油污。

During freshwater cleaning of oil content monitor, observe that display shows 0 ppm.

用淡水冲洗15ppm 监测仪时,观察显示屏应是0 ppm.

Activate the 15PPM alarm and check the 3-way valves if fitted is operational and shuts off the water flowing overboard. (Or/and the bilge pump stops automatically)

当15ppm 警报响起时,3 通伐应该动作关闭出海回流到污水柜( 或污水泵自动停止运行)。

If any water is still flowing on overboard line after the 3-way valve has activated, check/repair/replace the solenoid valve, as necessary.

如果3 通伐动作后还有水到出海管,那就要马上检查修理电磁3通伐或有必要的话换新。

Check and confirm the 2 alarm indicators on the 15PPM monitor activate as required.

检查确认15PPM显示屏上两个报警显示工作正常。

Confirm the audible alarm sounds in the engine room. (immediately, without time delay).

确认蜂鸣报警马上在机舱能听到(不应该有延迟)。

Test the oil sludge sensor and solenoid valves to make sure valves are opening while sludge reach to ceiling and engineers are familiar how to test the sludge sensor.

试验检测油份的探头和电磁伐时,确认伐是打开的,所有轮机员应熟悉怎么试验油份检测探头及电磁伐。

Check the digital record in the oil content monitoring device. Make sure engineers are familiar how to obtain the history and compare the digital records with oil record book entries to confirm they are same.

熟悉现场查阅油水分离器的操作记录,确保所有轮机员知道怎么查阅油水分离器的历史操作记录,并对比油水记录簿 ,两者要绝对一致。

On some OWS there is one button cell inside of oil content monitoring device, which supplies power for OWS operation records, it is valid for about a period of 2 years. Check your instruction manual if it’s so ensure you always have one spare button cell onboard, and keep it inside the control box.

SEWAGE PLANT TEST METHOD

Full functional test of the Sewage treatment plant (where fitted) to be carried out.

抵港前粪便处理装置的各种功能及实际操作须进行。

Check the dosage unit has the appropriate amount of chemicals and the line is clear and not blocked.

检查确认投药剂量单元有足够的药剂,同时投药关系须完好无堵塞。

Check both the aeration blowers are in good working condition.

检查试验确认两台鼓风机工作良好。

where visible return line is available ensure its clean and return is visible when unit is operational.

在装了透明塑料返回管的装置上,确保当系统工作时,管子里面可见。

Operate all valves, cocks and confirm they are in good condition and operational.

检查操作所有系统相关的阀门,考克等,确认都在好的工作状态。

Open the sampling /drain cock and ensure the water colour is clean, if water looks dirty pls clean /de-rust /paint the sewage plant inside immediately.

当系统运行时,经常打开取样/放残考克,确保泄放出来的水质清洁良好,如果发现很脏,应马上清洁粪便处理柜,最好除锈并油漆两度。

EMERGENCY GENERATOR START AND TEST METHOD(应急发电机启动和测试方法)

Full functional test of the emergency Generator

应急发电机所有功能测试。

Start generator by primary starting method.

用第一种方式启动应急发电机。

Check 440 V earthing device shows infinity.

检查440伏接地绝缘应该是无穷大。

Check the 220V or 110V panel in emergency generator room and earthing device shows infinity.

应急发电机间220伏或110伏接地绝缘应该在允许范围,最好无穷大。

Start generator by secondary starting method.

检测用第二种方式启动应急发电机。

5. Start the generator by simulated starting method. (Simulation of black out without blackout)

EDG sequence test (simulation of blackout) carried out, generator started, connected to Emergency Switch Board, Parameters A, V, etc… are in range.

按说明书要求用模拟跳电的方式测试应急发电机自动启动并自动合闸,同时仔细检查各参数是否正常。

6. Where possible to take it on load without affecting the operation of the vessel – take the generator on load and load emergency devices- (Em: fire pump, Em: compressor, Em; Steering etc) Keep the generator running for one hour and note the KW, Temp, Amp, etc and enter in E-log as remark under test of em: generator.

在可能方便的港口或锚地启动应急发电机并带负荷(应急消防泵/应急空压机/舵机油泵等)运行一个小时,同时观察各参数并在E-log 上记录一家饭店带负荷测试时间。

7. Check the level of the fuel in the tank (Required fuel level should be marked on tank near gauge for at least 18 hours continuous run) and if the quick closing valve is operating properly.

检查油柜油位(至少连续运行18个小时的油位须在油柜上油明确标识),测试油柜速闭阀工作正常。

8. Ensure sufficient cooling water/coolant (where water cooled) is there is the radiator.

检查确保散热器(风冷)里有足够的冷却水。

9. No oil or water leakage from the generator.

应急发电机底座周围等应干净整洁,无油无水可见。

10. Leave the generator in auto mode after stopping it.

应急发电机试验结束后应放在自动位置。

11. Lube oil renewal records should be available, suggest to renew lube oil every year.

建议每年更换应急发电机滑油,同时滑油换新记录应该保存在船。

12.Test the alarms and trips to make sure all sensors are working, alarms and/or trips operational, required testing device available on board (such as calibrated heater if required), and engineers are familiar how to test alarms and trips.

查阅说明书,应急发电机的安保装置要定期测试,相应的测试工具(如校验的加热器等)应放在机房,所有轮机员要熟悉怎么测试安保装置。

13.Make sure detailed emergency d/g starting / operational instruction is posted.

应急发电机的详细测试方法说明应张贴在机房供参考。

14. Check the condition of air inlet canvas cowl where fitted to the radiator to ensure no hole, not frayed, cracked, or torn.

检查确认散热器的帆布风管接头完好无损。

15.Test the fire flaps and air vents of the emergency d/g and emergency d/g room to see fully opening and closing, dog bolts are in place and fully operational where fitted, rubber gaskets and compression bars are in good condition.

检查应急发电机房的防火风板及透气帽等须处于良好工作状态。

16.If emergency d/g starting by batteries; check battery conditions, make sure installation dates of batteries were marked and renewed as mentioned frequency on PMS), batteries should be in a box with securable cover for minimizing the explosion hazard (not mandatory but advisable).

如应急发电机是电瓶启动,请检查电瓶的工作情况,确认电瓶的换新日期有明确标注,电瓶应妥善放置在相应的有安全盖的盒子里,最大程度减少电瓶发生爆炸的危害(该要求非强制但建议)。

17. A set of spare batteries must be always available for E.D.G starting (when equipped with electrical starter). Batteries to be replaced 30 months after manufacture date.

一套备用电瓶应该总是保存在应急发电机房备用(如果是电瓶启动的话),按要求启动电瓶应该自电瓶出厂日期后30个月换新,
