Here's the thing. 事情是这样的。 It's a very common way to start an idea. 这是开始一个想法的一种非常常见的方式。 You're about to tell the person the main problem with the main piece of information. 你要告诉对方主要信息的主要问题。 So you would start with, “here's the thing”, and then start explaining. 所以你可以从“事情是这样”开始，然后开始解释。 例句： I could quit, but here is the thing.
