【英语习语】 a fly in the ointment
【习语注释】 fly表示“苍蝇”，ointment表示“油膏；药膏”，该习语的字面意思是“药膏上的一只苍蝇”，引申义为“美中不足”，主要用来喻指原本完美的事物所存在的小缺陷，但这个小缺陷却往往是令人难以忍受的。
【习语运用】 Another hotel seems to be a fly in the ointment, blocking part of the beautiful ocean view. 美中不足的是有另外一家旅馆挡住了部分美丽的海景。 I find the house wonderful, but there is a fly in the ointment: it is too far from the town. 我觉得那所房子非常好，但是有点美中不足，就是离市区太远了。
