寒涧源流，          The deep quiet cold streams,
惠山泉壑，          And springs in Huishan valleys,
汇成风韵梁溪。      Converge into charming Liangxi River.
涟清波阔，          Ripples clear and wide,
风过柳荫堤。        Over the willow dike blows wind.  
两岸花坛步道，      Along are flowerbeds and paths,
亭台阁、            Pavilions and gazebos,  
今古灵姿。          A mixture of present and old styles.
江南景，            A landscape of Jiangnan,
小桥流水，          Small bridges over flowing streams,
霏雨弄清漪。        Fine rain corrugated rivulets.

滨河，              By riversides,
观景带，            Are landscape belts,
疏林透碧，          The woods greener,
霓彩增辉。          Neon brighter.
鹭飞野凫游，        Around are herons and mallards,
俊鸟栖枝。          Pretty birds branches.
翠黛远山隐秀，      Far away beautiful mountains,
画图里、            You’ll see as if in pictures,
老稚娱嬉。          The elderly and young are amused.
陶然笛，            The happy music of flute,
音声幽悦，          Sounds so quiet and pleasant,
独坐一支颐。        I’ll sit with chin on my hand.

梁溪河又名梁清溪，水清波阔、宁静悠远，是无锡最古老的自然河流，被誉为无锡人的母亲河。梁溪河源出无锡惠山，诸多的山泉流出汇聚成梁溪河。是沟通城区水系、京杭大运河、蠡湖和太湖的一条天然水体纽带。梁溪河两岸，绿树荫草，亭台楼阁，小桥流水，典型的江南风光。
