MLG - TORQUE LINK DAMPER (TLD)

【事件描述】

在日常的航线维护过程中,有时我们检查发现A320FAM主起落架扭力臂阻尼器储压器中液压油面在"REFILL"区域,这种情况是否能够直接办理故障保留放行飞机呢?

【解决方案】

空中客车公司认为,当储压器活塞“触底”(即完全压缩)时,扭力臂阻尼器(TLD)就会“失效”。

当储压器活塞接触桶身时,扭力臂阻尼器就会“触底”。这种接触似乎与储压器的位置与“REEILL”条带的下限水平一致。

实际上,活塞的“触底”与缺少液压油有关,也可能表明储压器中存在空气。

根据主最低设备清单(MMEL),任何发现处于这种状态的扭力臂阻尼器都必须在7个飞行航段限制内补充液压油(refer to AMM Task 12-12-32-611-006 - Replenishment of the MLG Torque Link Damper)。

虽然在MMEL中规定,左、右主起落架扭力臂阻尼器在此期间可以同时不工作,但为了避免起落架过度振动,建议尽可能避免这种情况。

如果发现储压器处于“REEILL”区域,则不认为TLD“失效”,应尽快按照AMM12-12-32-611-006将液压油充至“满”液位。

Description:

Sometimes, the hydraulic fluid level in the reservoir of the Torque Link Damper could be in the "REFILL" area (IPC: 32-11-11-52G). Is it a reason for the opening of the MEL 32-11-01 item for Aircraft?

Solution:

Airbus considers a Torque Link Damper (TLD) to be 'inoperative' when the Reservoir Piston has 'bottomed-out' (i.e. fully compressed).

The 'bottoming-out' of the Torque Link Damper occurs when the Reservoir Piston contacts the Barrel. This contact appears to be coincidental with the position of the Reservoir Can being level with the lower limit of the 'Refill' band.
Indeed, the 'bottoming-out' of the Piston is linked to a lack of hydraulic fluid and could indicate the presence of air in the Reservoir.

In accordance with the Master Minimum Equipment List (MMEL), any Torque Link Damper found to be in this condition must have its hydraulic fluid replenished (refer to AMM Task 12-12-32-611-006 - Replenishment of the MLG Torque Link Damper) within a time limit of 7 flights.
 

Although it is stated in the MMEL that both the LH and the RH MLG Torque Link Dampers can be concurrently inoperative for this period, in order to avoid excessive Landing Gear vibration, it is recommended that this situation is avoided when possible.

If the Reservoir Can is found to be in the 'Refill' zone, the TLD is not considered 'inoperative' and the hydraulic fluid should be filled to the 'Full' level in accordance with AMM Task 12-12-32-611-006 as soon as possible.
