在经济学人的Bartleby专栏里读到一篇和工作相关的文章——CareerTok.  这篇文章讨论了年轻求职者使用TikTok（称为"CareerTok"）作为职业发展工具的趋势。特别是Z世代，重视工作场所的透明度、支持和团结，许多人在平台上分享他们的求职经历和建议。这类型的内容容易引起求职者的共鸣并可能会引发病毒式传播。 CareerTok带来了一些好的成果，如公司在被在线指责后改进了他们的做法。但也存在一些挑战，如潜在的法律问题和一些来自老一代的反对声音。 在Tiktok上，除了有CareerTok，还有像BookTok这类的主题标签。  对于Z世代来说，TikTok成了新的LinkedIn. 其实不管是哪个平台，似乎都绕不开要建立社交圈子，链接更多的人。“经营”LinkedIn账号，链接“精英”，其实是个“不小的工程”。 文中提到越来越多的美国人没有依靠家人和朋友，而是转向TikTok寻求建议。这种现象的出现，算是符合了时代发展的趋势吧，只是不知道这是否只是昙花一现。 文中有很多和工作职场相关的词汇，如: perks: something extra that someone receives in addition to regular pay for doing a job（工资外的）额外收入，津贴 — usually plural通常用复数 paycheque: the money that you regularly earn: a wage or salary薪金；工资。美式英语用paycheck. lay off: to stop employing (someone) because there is not enough work（因开工不足）解雇，使下岗  更多好词好句，用于口语和写作素材： 1.Rather than relying on family and friends, a growing number of Americans are turning to TikTok in search of advice that will help them climb those all-important first steps up the career ladder.
