Housed within a 25-story black glass tower, the hotel's architecture by Tokyo-based Kume Sekkei and interiors by Melbourne's LAYAN Architects + Designers harmonize tradition and innovation. Design inspiration draws from Hakata's traditional textile-dyeing techniques, with local artisans contributing screens, sculptures, paintings, and woven artworks that narrate the space. Floor-to-ceiling windows frame dramatic views of the Genkai Sea and surrounding mountains.

Guests first pass through a sensory tunnel lined with illuminated washi paper at street level before encountering artist Motoko Mayo's installation in the 18th-floor sky lobby. This double-height space reinterprets Japanese minimalism—monumental ceilings, soft lighting cascading over fine sand floors, and the subtle fragrance of black orchids lingering in the air. In collaboration with Tokyo-based Inter Culture Art consultants, the hotel commissioned Fukuoka artists to create ceramic, bamboo, and textile artworks. Nearly every surface from the lobby to intimate corners bears artistic touches, creating the refined ambiance of an art collector's residence. These pieces not only reference Fukuoka's silk trade history but also provide visual therapy for weary travelers through their soothing tones and textures.

Three view categories exist: Skyline rooms showcase urban panoramas, Park View rooms overlook Ohori Park's greenery, while Bay View rooms observe Hakata Bay's maritime activity. The Presidential and Ritz-Carlton Suites feature private dining rooms and kitchens for discerning guests.
