Successfully installed the Oxford Advanced Learner’s Dictionary 7th edition 由于学习英语的需要，近日来在电驴上搜索了一些词典来一一安装试用，可是这个牛津高阶词典在安装后却无论如何也无法运行。不过，经过不懈的查找和实验，最终我还是找到了可以成功安装使用的方法。我仅以在我笔记本上安装的过程为例来说明，系统是vista ultimate。 Take my installation process as an example, my installation environment is vista ultimate, on my laptop Dell D830. 1 到此页下载安装文件，http://www./topics/41074/ ，可以下载压缩包版或MDF/MDS镜像，其实二者除了大小之外完全相同，压缩包版解压后即是上述的两个镜像，随自己喜好下载一个就行了，不用两个都下。 Download the setup files from here: http://www./topics/41074/ , the RAR version is completely the same as the image files, choosing either of them is ok. 2 确定你的电脑中有DaemonTools或者alcohol120%虚拟光驱中的其中一个，若没有到这里去下载： DAEMON Tools：http://www./soft/4/36/2006/Soft_32037.html Alcohol120%：http://www./soft/4/124/2006/Soft_32190.html 安装虚拟光驱后用它读取镜像文件，但注意开始安装前要开启虚拟光驱的RMPS，SafeDisc选项。但我也没试验到底二者开与不开究竟是否影响安装以及后来的使用，我的那几个模拟选项是常开的，反正安到最后就好用了，如果确实有在这个模拟选项上遇到问题的朋友，不妨自己挨个试试。 Download and install either DAEMON Tools or Alcohol120% in order to read the image files, and while using them, remember to turn on the RMPS, SafeDisc options. 3 确保你的电脑里有Quicktime6或以上版本，如果没有，我推荐Quicktime7。注册机可以去CSDN自行下载。 Make sure that you have QuickTime6 or a higher version. 4 用虚拟光驱读取并安装牛津词典，中途会弹出窗口询问是否安装Quicktime6，根据实际情况，如果有更好的版本那当然自己安装了。一路安装到结束，并且随后安装好QuickTime。我看到verycd的帖子评论中有人说词典和QuickTime的安装先后对运行有影响，但我觉得这个问题是由于系统内本身多个播放器之间的解码器冲突导致的，所谓的播放器安装先后，其实就是重新关联解码器的问题。我机器上原先有暴风影音、VLC player、Realplayer等，安装QuickTime后并未影响词典的使用。 During the installation, it will ask you to install QuickTime6, to install or not to install is all up to you, but after the installation you should pay attention to the conflict of the decoders between the video players that you’ve already installed. But I never met such problems while using the dictionary. 帖子中也有人提出了在使用词典过程中单词无法发声或者发声时提示错误的问题，我觉得也是播放器冲突的原因，不妨将多个播放器卸载，仅安装QuickTime试试看。这个问题可能因系统而异，我也无法得出一个统一的说法。 5 点击这里下载该词典的补丁程序：oald7_crack 里面有两个oald7.exe文件，拷贝至安装目录下覆盖原文件。大家可以自己试试哪个好用，我用的是第二个。为避免破解失败后重新安装，最好备份之前的原始文件。运行patch和update，在运行update时会要求插入光盘，更新后会自动运行词典。 This is some cracks, patches and updates, download it and replace the original oald7.exe with a new one, remember to backup the original file in case of any failure, run the PATCH, and finally after running the UPDATE, it will ask you to insert the CD, and then if nothing goes wrong, your dictionary is successfully installed and can run well.
