今天是世界关节炎日，世界卫生组织已将2000～2010年定为“骨与关节疾病”为主题的十年，并将每年10月12日定为“世界关节炎日”。
在亚洲地区，每6个人中就有1人在一生的某个阶段患上关节炎这种世界头号致残性疾病。骨关节病在我国目前被严重忽视，有近一亿人都有骨关节问题，但就医率仅为15%，其中有5%还是疼得受不了才去就医。“世界关节炎日”的目的就是要提醒人们，对关节炎要早预防、早诊断、早治疗，防止致残。
肥胖是骨关节炎的主要诱因
由于肥胖会加重关节面的负担，改变人体姿势、步态及运动模式，进而加速关节结构磨损、老化，还可通过其他代谢并发症间接影响关节。所以大多数肥胖者都较容易发生膝、脊柱和足部关节的骨性关节炎。
关节炎更易“恋”上时尚一族
长时间按手机键盘或MP3按钮的人群因用手指长时间做一个动作，很容易诱发腱鞘炎，而腱鞘炎与关节过度劳损有着密切的关系。
“久坐族”成为关节炎易患人群
办公族、电脑族的手腕、手肘、肩关节，开车族的膝关节、踝关节都是最容易受损的关节。骨关节炎患者平时可以进行正确、适当的锻炼，如散步、游泳、骑脚踏车及不负重的关节屈伸活动。
饮食疗法
橙汁不仅可以防止关节炎，而且抗氧化作用高于维C补充剂。关节炎患者连续3个月每天喝豆奶，疼痛感明显减轻，效果堪比止痛药。此外研究发现，很多患者饮用“苹果醋+蜂蜜”，可以让治疗关节炎疼痛效果立竿见影。
