新加坡重点小学一年级如何训练英文写作基本功（全程导学 5）

本次教学，围绕 because 展开，训练孩子的句法意识。练习之前，让孩子看下面的句子。

 

        ① Mary needs to rest.        （玛丽需要休息。）

 ② Mary is very tired.   （玛丽非常累。）

 

  妈妈问孩子：这 2 句话，有什么联系呢？

  孩子回答说：玛丽需要休息，因为她非常累。

  妈妈说：对啊！因为累了，所以玛丽需要好好休息一下。

  妈妈接着说：我们可以把这两句话，用“because（因为）”连起来。

  妈妈一边说，一边故意在纸上写：

 

Mary needs to rest + because + Mary is very tired

= Mary is very tired because Mary needs to rest.

 

  写完之后，妈妈问孩子：你看我这么写对不对啊？

  孩子说：你写反了，这么写就变成“玛丽非常累，因为玛丽需要休息”。

  妈妈说：哦，妈妈写错了，看来以后用 because 连接两句话的时候，一定要检查意思是不是通顺。

  妈妈一边说，一边重新在纸上写：

 

Mary needs to rest + because + Mary is very tired

= Mary needs to rest because Mary is very tired.

 

  写完之后，妈妈说：找找看，这句话里，哪两个词是重复的？

  孩子说：Mary 是重复的。

  妈妈说：英语不喜欢重复，所以咱们把这句话改写成：

 

Mary needs to rest because she is very tired.

 

  妈妈用荧光笔，把句子里的“Mary”，“because”和“she”涂上颜色。妈妈还要告诉孩子，句子后面的“she”，就是代替句子开头的“Mary”。  

  接下来，妈妈鼓励孩子说：今天，我们练习用“because（因为）”，把 2 个句子合并到一起。

 

开始练习喽！

 

一、让孩子动笔，完成五组练习。 

 

 

① Anna eats all the food.     

② Anna is hungry.  

① + because + ② =                                                          

 

 

① The girl is crying. 

② The girl is lost.        （lost: 迷路了）

① + because + ② =                                                          

 

 

① Nick is happy.     

② Nick is going to the zoo.     

① + because + ② =                                                          

 

 

① The zoo is crowded.      （crowded: 拥挤的）

② Today is a holiday.      

① + because + ② =                                                          

 

 

① I cannot carry the box.    

② The box is heavy.      

① + because + ② =                                                          

 

 

二、完成之后，一起对答案。   

 

  Anna eats all the food because she is hungry.

  The girl is crying because she is lost.

  Nick is happy because he is going to the zoo.      

  The zoo is crowded because today is a holiday.

  I cannot carry the box because it is heavy.       

 

  孩子完成之后，妈妈再次提醒一下，写在 because 前面和后面的句子，顺序不可颠倒。

 

  孩子写错的句子，要重新誊抄一遍。

 

 

三、对完答案，让孩子像下面那样，把句子里的 because 划上荧光笔。

 

  Anna eats all the food because she is hungry.

  The girl is crying because she is lost.

  Nick is happy because he is going to the zoo.     

  The zoo is crowded because today is a holiday.

  I cannot carry the box because it is heavy.  

 

  划完荧光笔之后，妈妈对孩子说：写作文的时候，用 because 是为了提醒读者，because 后面的句子，是对前面句子的解说。
