Located 240 kilometers east of Kunming, the capital city of Yunnan province, and neighboring Guizhou and Guangxi, Luoping county is home to one of the largest plantations of rape flowers in Southwest China.
The county is noted for its beautiful scenery in spring, when its fields of rape flowers are in full blossom, surrounding the area's mountains with a sea of golden flowers.
