一般过去时（一）

一般过去时表示过去发生的动作或存在的状态。一般与表示过去的时间状语连用，比如yesterday, the day before yesterday, 一段时间+ago； last +时间状语；介词+时间名词等。

 

例句：

1.I went swimming with John yesterday afternoon.昨天下午我和约翰去游泳了。

否定句：I didn’t go swimming with John yesterday afternoon.

一般疑问句：Did you go swimming with John yesterday afternoon? Yes, I did. No, I didn’t.

特殊疑问句：Whom did you go swimming with yesterday afternoon?

                         When did you go swimming with John?

 

2.He wrote a novel five years ago.五年前他写了一本小说。

否定句：He didn’t write a novel five years ago.

一般疑问句：Did he write a novel five years ageo? Yes, he did. No, he didn’t.

特殊疑问句：What did he write five years ago?

                         When did he write a novel?

 

3.She travelled to London last summer.去年夏天她去伦敦旅游了。

否定句：She didn’t travel to London last summer.

一般疑问句：Did she travel to London last summer? Yes, she did. No, she didn’t.

特殊疑问句：Where did she travel to last summer?

               

4.The little cat was born on the morning of June 25^th, 1999.这只小猫出身于1999年6月25日的早晨。

否定句：The little cat wasn’t  born on the morning of June 25^th, 1999.

一般疑问句：Was the little cat born on the morning of June 25^th, 1999? Yes, it did. No, it didn’t.

特殊疑问句：Who was born on the morning of June25^th, 1999?

 

注意：一般过去时态动宾结构中，问句的助动词为did, 助动词did后的动词一定为原形do的形式。

一般过去时系表结构中，问句的助动词为was/were。
