My analysis of film poster

 

   The  film poster's commercial purpose is telling the audiences about  the film’s content in time and appealing them to go to see the        movie.In a word,their final aim is making more profit or playing a       propaganda role.

   This film Coming Home's poster uses a cold tone to show the theme of the film.  Among the posters,we can see the title and the characters.The character's angle in the image is horizontal angle,which makes     audiences have a same sad feeling.And the main characters are bigger than their daughter.At the top of the poster,we can see the theme of    the film:Life and death's leaving, the epic of love.It can attract more  people to watch this movie.In the background,we can see some  wild gooses(大雁).It uses the metaphor.Because the wild gooses represent 

the meaning of coming home.And the snow also makes a sad            atmosphere.At the bottom of the poster,we can know the release       date,director,the name of actors and some playing platforms.And the poster shows the production technology:4K IMAX.It will attract more audiences.

    So I think I will watch this movie after seeing this poster.
