It's raining hard.

hard是“努力”的意思，但也用来形容“雨下得很大的样子”。雨努力地下，当然就是雨下得很大啦。

It's raining heavily.

heavily比较常见的意思是“沉重”，但也常用来形容雨下得很大。雨水重重地压下来！当然也就是“雨下得很大”的意思啦。

It's pouring.

pour是“泼水，倒水”的意思；但是也常用来描述雨下的很大，雨下得就像是有人在倒水一样。属于是“倾盆大雨”、“瓢泼大雨”的神对应哦。

It's raining cats and dogs.

这句话里的词汇是大家非常熟悉的——cat是“猫”的意思，dog是“狗”的意思。而It's raining cats and dogs则表示雨下得很大，非常有趣的表达方式哦。

It's raining pitchforks and hammer handles.

这个表达方式有点类似于It's raining cats and dogs. pitchfork指的是“铲草的耙子”，hammer handle指的是“锤子的手柄”；下雨下得像耙子和锤柄一样，是不是很可怕呢？没错，It's raining pitchforks and hammer handles的意思同样是“雨下得很大”。
