| This a great doily pattern for anyone who would like to crochet a doily for the first time. If you have experience crocheting in the round, this doily will be a breeze to crochet! The Pinwheel Doily is a more solid doily compared to traditional lacy doilies. The pattern uses sock or fingering yarn to update the idea of an old fashioned doily made with cotton lace weight yarns and tiny steel hooks.

Crochet Pattern: Pinwheel Doily
Round 1: ch 6, sl st in first ch to form ring, 16 sc into ring, join with sl st into beginning sc: 16 sc
Note: Do not join until otherwise noted in pattern, use stitch markers at beginning/end of rounds to keep track of rounds.
Round 2: sc in same st as join, (ch 4, skip next sc, sc in next sc) around ending with ch 4: 8 sc, 8 ch-4 spaces
