你能区别清look，see和watch吗？

Look, see and watch are verbs that we use to talk about our sense ofsight - using our eyes. But they have important differences in meaning.

三个单词都聊的是我们的视觉，汉语翻译都有看的意思，这也是大家混淆它们主要原因，其实它们在意思上有重要的区别，否则就会在忙中乱用，进一步把问题复杂化。

look (at)

When we look,we try to see.We make a special effort. We concentrate our eyes on something.

Look注视，专注看（强调专注）；常常还用来提醒对方注意某个细节。例如：

• Look! It's snowing!

• 快看啊！下雪了！

• Look at this photo! Isn't it beautiful?

• 快看这个照片，很漂亮不是吗？

• I'm looking but I don't     see it.

• 我在努力瞧，就是看不见它啊。

When we use look with an object, we say look + at + object

Look后要跟宾语，后面加at就可以了。例如：

John looked at Mary. 约翰注视了玛丽。

see

We use see tomean simply that an image comes into our eyes. It may not be deliberate. Assoon as we open our eyes, we see things.

See看见，看到（强调结果）；详解：表示某个事物已映入眼帘，或许都不需思考，睁眼就可见。

I can see a cloud in the sky.

我可以看见天上的云朵。

I suddenly saw a bird fly in front of me.

我突然看见一只鸟从我面前飞过。

Didn't you see Ram? He was waving at you.

你看见Ram了吗？他刚在向你挥手。

watch

With the verb watch, we are much more active. Watch is like look,but requires more effort from us. We watch thingsthat are going to move or change in some way. And we watch the movements and changes.

Watch观看，观察；详解：需要主动积极看，看的东西往往是要移动或改变的，而不是一直静止的事物。

• I like watching motor racing on TV.

 我喜欢在电视上看赛车比赛

• If you watch that egg for long enough you'll see it hatch.

  如果你观察那个鸡蛋时间够长，你会看到它孵化。

watch or see for movies, concerts, TV etc?

In general, we use see forpublic performances and watch for television at home.
