Panic Saturday targets last-minute shoppers. Typically the day is ridden with one-day sales in an effort to accrue more revenue than any other day in the Christmas and holiday season. 恐慌星期六瞄准的是那些熬到最后一刻才出手购物的顾客。为获得比圣诞节和假期里任何一天都多的利润，商家通常会在这一天提供单日折扣。
Shoppers across Britain went looking for late Christmas bargains on Dec 20 as high street spending was set to reach ￡1.2 billion on what was being branded "Panic Saturday".
