I think today is the day we are taking Spudgy to his very first Japanese puppy party!

 

在这里 very 是强调某件事情第一次发生。

• When did you have your first cup of coffee?  可以指你一生第一杯咖啡，或者某一天的第一杯咖啡。

• When did you have you very first cup of coffee? 一定是指你人生的第一杯咖啡。

I even packed a little puppy backpack for you

 

Pack: fill (a suitcase or bag) especially with clothes and other items needed when away from home.

• It's important to pack plenty of water and snacks to bring on a hike.

If you're gonna poop you can't do it secretly because then I can't pick it up......

You're gonna say 'hi' to all the puppies?

口语中 Are you going to…可以直接说 You're gonna…或者 You gonna…

• Are you going to stay home today?

  = You gonna stay home today?
  

Ok Spudgy, you're getting over your social anxiety, a bit. You're kind of like that kid at the school dance, that just like, sits along the wall.

To get over sth: to find a way to solve or deal with a difficult problem.

• We have many obstacles to get over before the product launch.

 

文化点：外国的中学跟高中经常会举办舞会 - dance/school dance.

Spudgy does not care about other dogs. He is completely indifferent.

Indifferent: not interested in or concerned about something.

• The teacher dislikes teaching a classroom full of indifferent students.

You went on a big adventure buddy. How do you feel about that, little guy?

今天我们学到了很多可以叫小狗的昵称。因为是公狗，这些昵称叫小男孩儿也可以

Buddy: Hey buddy! How's it goin?

Little guy: Hey little guy! What are you doin?

Big guy: Hi big guy! It's good to see you!

Boy: You're such a good boy!

Little boy : You're a good little boy!
