1. origin这个单词大家都知道是“起源，原点”的意思，originate则是origin的动词形式，作不及物动词时表示“起源，发生”，作及物动词时则表示“创始，发起”。

This unique writing method was originated by him.
这一特殊的写作方式是他创始的。

2. originate作为不及物动词使用时，除了用介词in和它之外，我们还可以用from、with和as这几个介词进行搭配。originate from表示“由……起源”，originate with表示“由（某人）发起”，originate as则表示“作为……的起源”。

This medicine originated from a toxic plant.
这个药物来自于一种有毒的植物。

Her eyes overflow with cheerful tears.
她的眼里充满了喜悦的泪水。

1. flow是“流淌，流动”的意思，overflow，流淌得过多，即“溢出，充满”。要表示“充满某物”时，则需要用介词with来搭配宾语。

2. 表示“充满”，我们除了用overflow with这个短语外，还可以用be filled with，be full of这两个比较常见的搭配。或者我们也可以把fill和overflow结合在一起，组成be filled to overflowing (with something)这个词组。

His bookshelves are filled to overflowing with CDs.
他的书架上装满了CD。

1. revolve around在上面的例句中表示“以……为中心／主题”，除此之外，revolve around还有“围绕……旋转”的意思。例如：
