看电影用“watch”还是“see”？

The weekend is coming. 有些线话宝宝们可能会选择去电影院放松一下。看电影究竟是see a movie还是watch a movie呢？

其实，看电影用watch和see均可，区别是watch更加随意、轻松一些。See a movie常表示去电影院看电影，而watch a movie通常指在家看电影。

此外，watch 更偏重表达看的过程，see 更注重“看到了”这个结果。

那电影是movie还是film呢？简单说，movie更加口语化，而film常用于较正式的名词概念。一些固定的表达中，两个词亦存在区别。去看电影可以用 go to the movies（美） 或 go to the cinema（英），但不能用go to the film。

此外，motion picture也可表达电影，这种用法更加正式。著名的奥斯卡奖的“最佳影片”奖，官方英文即为The Best Picture.

电影院也有不同的表达方式。Cinema是英式英语，theater是北美用语，一些多影厅的电影院可用cineplex表达。
