I'm just saying

很多生活情景剧中，经常出现 'I'm just saying' 这个短句，很简单，很好理解，“我只是在说；我只是想说”，但在日常生活中，不同的情境下表达的意思也不太一样。

最常见的一种就是，当我们因为说了一些不动听的话而惹恼（或惹怒）听话人的时候，可以赶紧来一句“I'm just saying.”解释一下，来安抚对方的隋绪。

它的潜台词是：I'm not trying to offend you anything．I'm just saying what I think is the truth. Please don't be mad at me.（我不是成心要冒犯你，只是说出了我认为对的事情罢了，请不要生气。）

例句：

--I am just saying you can do better. 

--我只是想说你可以做的更好。)

I 'm just saying, she's 5, you know？

I'm just saying的第二层意思一般用来“预防对方翻脸”，最准确的中文可以翻译为：我就这么随口一说的啦；（不是故意冒犯你）我想到就说了。

例句：

--If you are staying home all day and never going out, you might find it hard to meet a guy. I am just saying.  

--如果你总宅在家里，门儿也不出的话，就很难找个男朋友，我随便这么一说哈。

I'm not saying

当我们在表达观点的时候，可以用这句话来让语气更委婉，跟中文里的'我不是说……'意思一样。（其实就是在说这个！）

例句：

A: I think we need that new computer.
我觉得我们需要那个新电脑。

B: I'm not saying it's expensive. I just think we could spend the money on something else.

我不是说它贵，我只是觉得我们应该把钱花到其他地方。

例句：

mood：心情

I'm just in the mood ='我有这样的心情'，for 后接'想去做的事'

如果in no mood for，则表示'我很不想去做......'。

例句：
