青白瓷也叫影青瓷或隐青瓷，指的是釉色介于青白二色之间，青中泛白、白中透青的一种瓷器。青白瓷是宋元时期景德镇及受其影响的窑场烧成的、具有独特风格和鲜明时代特征的新品种。青白瓷系窑场多分布在南方几省，主要有江西浮梁景德镇窑、南丰白舍窑、吉安永和窑，广东潮安窑，福建德化窑、泉州碗窑乡窑、同安窑、南安窑等。 江西景德镇是青白瓷的烧造中心，北宋时其青白瓷的基本特征是 胎质细密，呈白色，透光度极好;釉的透明度高，光泽性强，流动性较大，釉色青白，最好的呈色如天青稍淡，釉薄处泛白，积釉处则呈水绿色，北宋偏早的一些器物积釉微泛黄色器型多见盘、碗等日用器皿，还有瓶、壶、盏托、注壶、枕、油盒等，油盒底部多有'吴家盒子记'、'段家盒子记'等标记，均为阳文直书，此外尚有'蓝'、'朱'、'程'等共计14家；装饰的方法主要是刻花和印花，多在碗、盘的内壁，刻花花纹吃刀深浅不同，施釉后，吃刀深处积釉成青绿色，浅处泛白，层次感很强。刻印花图案内容主要是花卉。宋代景德镇青白瓷传世最多的是盘、碗、碟、盒及魂瓶等，尤其是魂瓶，江南地区宋墓几乎都有出土。 南宋中期以后，景德镇受定窑影响采用复合支圈覆烧法，盘、碗的口沿也形成'芒口'。此时胎质比以前稍粗，釉色可以分为两类：一类偏白，一类偏青。在造型方面，南宋前期与北宋相似，主要有斗签碗、平底碟、弧壁浅盘等南宋中晚期碗演变为撇口弧壁形。在装饰手法方面，南宋早期多为刻花、划花，内容以牡丹、荷花等花卉为主，也有婴戏晚期印花很多，图案层次较多，构图繁缛，除花卉、水波游鱼外，还出现了人物故事题材。 以下图片均来自带来各大博物馆和拍卖行 A pair of Qingbai 'floral' bowls, Song dynasty Provenance: Sotheby's New York, 6th November 1981, lot 211.
