In the recent month, with the active cooperation and joint efforts of the citizens, COVID-19 epidemic prevention and control has achieved positive results. As of February 27th, there had been no new confirmed cases or suspected cases for 10 consecutive days. At the same time, we insist on equal emphasis on epidemic prevention & control and production resumption. Jiangsu Province has lowered COVID-19 emergency response from first level to second. However, we must be aware of the severity and complexity of COVID-19 outbreak at the global scale. With confirmed cases surged in some countries, the spread of the disease is yet to be contained effectively. A few countries declared raising the COVID-19 alert level to the highest. For the sake of improving prevention and control, ensuring yours and your family’s health, and safeguarding the city’s safety, please heed the following suggestions. I. Enhance self-protection and minimize outdoor activities. Avoid crowds and eschew group meals and gatherings. Always wear a face mask correctly when going out. Discard used masks according to related regulations. Keep good hygiene, especially mouth and hand hygiene. Avoid contact with wild animals or poultry. Cook meat and eggs thoroughly before consuming. II. When such symptoms as fever, cough, headache, difficulty in breathing, or fatigue occur, please avoid contacting with others, enhance self-protection, seek medical help from designated hospitals with fever departments, and truthfully report your travel and contact history. III. If you have recently come back from Japan and South Korea, please contact your community staff immediately and truthfully report your travel history. You shall have an isolated medical observation at home for 14 days and constantly monitor your health conditions. The cooperation from your company will also be needed, with relevant information submitted to the related service personnel in your district or town in a timely manner. IV.
