数词

5.7 年龄

年龄可以用下列结构表示：

      fifteen (years old).

He is fifteen years of age.他十五岁。

       aged fifteen (years).

注意：

表示年龄的复合形容词仅用作定语修饰名词。比如：

He is a fifteen-year-old boy.

他是一个十五岁孩子。

“at (the) age (of)…”表示“在…年龄”，多用作状语。比如：

At (the) age （of） fifteen, he went to an art school.

他十五岁时上了一所艺术学校。

“in+one’s+整十数的基数词复数形式”表示“…多岁了”。比如：

The old man is in his eighties.

这位老人八十多岁了。

Though in his sixties, he works hard like a young man.

虽然他六十多岁，但是他仍像年轻人一样工作。
