“scene”我们都认识，常用的意思有“风景；景色；景象”，也可以指“场景；场面”或“现场”。戏剧中的一场也叫“scene”。

不过我们今天要学的是“make ascene”，可以这么理解，把一个场面变成像戏剧的一场一样——意思是：“（当众）大声吵闹；出丑”。

Oh, darling, please don't make a scene.
Just forget about it.

哦，亲爱的，不要大吵大闹。

Jane found a fly in her drink and started to makea scene.

珍妮在她的饮料里发现一只苍蝇，开始吵闹起来。

What am I supposed to do, make a scene?

那我该怎么做？大闹一场吗？

If you don't give him the money,
he will make a scene.

你如果不给他钱的话，他会大吵大闹的。

My parents always make a scene with their fighting wherever we go.
