【原】到底是端午“快乐”还是“安康”？大过节的可别说错了！

等等，为什么要用Dragon Boat，不能用Duanwu吗？到底该说“快乐”还是“安康”？一起来了解一下吧~

“端午节”怎么说？

首先要向大家声明，Duanwu Festival当然是没错的，只是目前，老外已经普遍接受了Dragon Boat Festival的用法。

• Duanwu Festival

• Dragon Boat Festival

• Double Fifth Festival  

The Dragon Boat Festival is also called Double Fifth Festival because it is in the fifth day of fifth month of Chinese lunar calendar.

由于端午节是在中国农历5月初5，所以也叫重五节。

端午节快乐还是安康？

很多人以为，端午节是为了纪念为国殉身的屈原，祝福“快乐”不太合适，应该说“端午安康”。

【端午安康】

• Wish you safe and sound on Dragon Boat day

• Wish you a good health in Dragon Boat Festival

但也有专家反驳说，“端午”不过是个节令，划龙舟吃粽子的习俗出现时间都比屈原早，说“快乐”也没错~

Professionals believe that is is acceptable to say "Happy Dragon Boat Festival".

端午有什么习俗？

 ① 

要说节日习俗，我们这些吃货的第一反应当然就是吃粽子了~你最爱吃什么馅的呢？

【粽子】

• zongzi

• sticky rice dumplings

• sticky  /ˈstɪk.i/ adj. 黏糊糊的

• dumpling  /ˈdʌmplɪŋ/ n. 饺子

• sweet  /swiːt/ adj. 甜的

• savory /ˈseɪ.vər.i/ 咸的

• flavor  /'fleɪvə/ n. 口味

People from north prefer sweet zongzi, while people from south likes savory ones.

北方人吃甜粽子，南方人吃咸粽子。

Some people like to fight over the best flavor；but I like both sweet and savory flavors.

有些人就是喜欢争吵什么才是最好吃，但我甜咸口味都喜欢。

Dragon boat racing were held on a large scale everywhere in the country in the Tang Dynasty

赛龙舟活动在唐朝时会在全国各地大规模举行。

• mugwort /ˈmʌɡ.wɜːt/ 艾草

The fragrance of mugwort is very pleasant,  which can deter flies and mosquitoes.

艾草香味宜人，可以驱赶蚊虫。
