Lemaux 主要单位: 1美国加州大学伯克利分校(Department of Plant and Microbial Biology, University of California, Berkeley, CA, USA) 2中国农业大学( State Key Laboratory of Plant Physiology and Biochemistry, Department of Microbiology and Immunology, College of Biological Sciences, China Agricultural University, Beijing, China) 5美国加利福尼亚州植物基因表达中心(Plant Gene Expression Center, USDA-ARS, Albany, CA, USA) 干旱对作物生长发育有着重要的影响,也是制约作物产量的关键因素。已有研究证明,微生物组在增强植物的抗旱能力方面发挥着重要作用。但是当前对于根际微生物与植物在干旱下的互作机制知之甚少。课题组前期的研究证实干旱会诱导根际微生物组中放线菌的富集。 本研究以高粱作为研究对象,对高粱根际土壤样品进行鸟枪法宏基因组测序,最终从样品中提取了55个高质量的细菌基因组,其中有15个基因组被注释为放线菌。进一步分析显示,虽然15种放线菌基因组相对丰度在干旱条件下都会增加,但是只有10个基因组表现出显著性提高。这表明即使在放线菌门内,也可能存在不同的干旱响应表型。比较基因组学揭示铁转运和代谢相关基因的拷贝数在干旱下显著富集的放线菌基因组中增加。这些结果暗示了铁代谢和转运在根际微生物适应干旱胁迫过程中的重要作用。进一步对根际铁稳态与干旱条件下根际放线菌的富集程度之间的关系进行了探究,发现高粱根际的铁稳态会受到干旱干扰,表现为干旱下铁吸收减少、铁储存增加,而这一过程会增加根际放线菌在干旱下的富集丰度。此外,外源施加铁会降低干旱条件下链霉菌的适应性优势和促进植物生长的能力。总之,该研究剖析了植物与微生物组在干旱下的相互作用关系,增进理解根际微生物组在植物对干旱胁迫过程中发挥的重要作用,为利用微生物组提高植物抗逆性提供了重要的参考价值。 主要结果图1 干旱条件下高粱根际微生物物种组成的相对丰度Relative abundance profiles of microbial taxa in the sorghum rhizosphere under drought
