A:艾米，作为资深的安全工程师，能否麻烦您给我讲讲JSA？ B: Sure, no problem.You've probably heard a lot of management tools in EHS,like STOP, PTW,MOC, LOTO,and the like.JSA is also a management tool in EHS,it is now been widely used in many big firms. B: 没问题，你或许已经听说过不少EHS管理工具，比如杜邦安全训练观察计划(Safety Training observation Program)、工作许可证(Permit To Work)、变更管理(Management of Change)、上锁挂牌(Lock out-Tag out)，等等。JSA同样也是一个安全管理方面的工具，目前在很多大公司被广泛使用。 A: Then, what’s the process? A:那么，流程是怎么样的呢？ B:Usually,we will follow the following five steps:1,Identify which task needs a JSA;2,Divide the task into several steps in order;3,Analysis all the potential safety hazard(s)in each step;4,Evaluate the possible risk(s) of each safety hazard;5,To study how to eliminate or reduce those safety risks. B:通常，我们会遵循以下5个步骤：一、识别需要做JSA的工作任务；二、将该工作任务按照顺序分为几个步骤；三、分析每一步骤中可能存在的安全危害；四、评估隐患的风险；五、研究如何消除或者降低那些安全风险。 A: From the professional point of view, which step is the key point? A:从专业的角度看，以上哪一步是关键步骤呢？ B: Of course, itis to divide the task into several steps in order. B:当然是第二步，按照顺序划分作业步骤。 A: Why? A:为何这么讲呢？ B: In reality,whether we can well implement a JSA depends on whether we have divided the task specifically and clearly .This step will have direct impact on the phase of analysis.It is important to note that a JSA itself cannot prevent incidents to happen, we need to rely on our workers,to let them to participate in EHS management.
