用焚烧炉的兄弟,看完这个差点机舱着火事件要小点心了......

When a waste oil incinerator was in operation exhaust gas high temperature alarm(at1200°C)sounded.The incinerator operation was immediately stopped and a check was made it revealed smoke coming from overheated paint on the back side of the incinerator casing threatening  to develop into a fire in the engine room.
当废油焚烧炉运行时,排气高温警报(1200°C)响起。 焚烧炉立即停止了运转,并进行了检查。发现焚烧炉背面外壳的油漆过热产生了烟雾,进一步发展可能导致机舱起火。

(2)风冷风管底部被沉积物堵塞 。

The furnace casing was cut open and after the solid sludge was re moved,the furnace casing was restored.The following precaution- ary measures were taken after the accident;
打开炉膛,清除固体污泥后,恢复炉壳外观。 事故发生后采取了以下预防措施; :

(1)Made an inspection/cleaning hole at the bottom of the back
side of the cooling duck(Photo 3).
(2)Disseminated an outline of this accident and instructed relevant
vessels to inspect inside of cooling duct.Because the clogging of cooling duct was reported from more than 50 % of owned ships.
(3)Inspect this part once every monthand include it in the periodic maintenance plan.
(1)背面底部检查/清洁进风口,如图3,冷却风道的侧面; 
(2)通报事故情况,因超过百分50的船舶报告侧面冷却风道因积碳阻塞;
(3)每月检查一次,并将此部分列入定期维护计划 ; 
The accident is attributed to the blockage of the air-cooling duct with deposits of sludgeThe ductthough fitted with a drainpipe was not provided with an inspection holewhich inherently pre vented itsinternal inspection.  
本次事故主要原因是由于侧面风冷管道淤积的污泥堵塞造成进冷却风受阻。风冷管道虽然装有排水管,但没有设置检查孔,这本身就妨碍了内部检查。 

经验教训:每次用完焚烧炉,务必及时清除内部垃圾,特别是底部或侧面的进风口要注意清通。
