“多穿点”别说成“wear more”，地道的表达是这个！

这两天，普特君所在的城市气温骤降。但外教Mac还是穿着薄衣服，大家就想跟他说多穿一点。那么问题来了，用英语该怎么说呢？

很多人第一反应可能会想到“wear more”。乍一看这样说确实没毛病，“wear”是“穿”，“more”是“更多”，但这其实是一种中式英语。

首先，这种说法并不地道，而且有一种强加于人不太礼貌的感觉。其次，“wear more”的意思是再穿一件和身上衣服相同的衣服，比如毛衣外面套个毛衣，短袖外面套个短袖，这样就会显得很奇怪了。

那么，“穿厚点”或者“多穿点”的地道表达是什么呢？

bundle (sb) up （使…）穿得暖和

英文释义：to put warm clothes on yourself or someone else

The kids were bundled up in coats and scarves.

孩子们穿着大衣，系着围巾，裹得严严实实。

bundle的本意是“束；捆”，“bundle sth up”的意思是“把…捆扎起来”。

wrap (sb) up （使某人）穿得暖和

英文释义：to dress in warm clothes, or to dress someone in warm clothes

Wrap up well - it’s cold outside.

穿暖和点——外面很冷。

dress warm 穿暖点

No matter how busy you are, you must take care of yourself. Friends may not contact each other very often, but they always have each other in heart. It’s getting cold, dress warm.
