Although the women's movement and political controversies about such issues and the Equal Rights Amendment and sexual harassment suggest that changing sex roles is a recent issue, this is far from the case.

1. 简化结构,确定主句 this is far from the case.

about such issues and the Equal Rights Amendment and sexual harassment,介词about接三个并列宾语作controversies的后置定语

3)     锁定从句主干:主语the women's movement and political controversies  谓语suggest

隐化宾语从句:that就可代指changing sex roles is a recent issue整句;主语是动名词短语changing sex roles,谓语是系表结构形式。

Although the women's movement and political controversies suggest that , this is far from the case.
