  The Blessing Rain I was suffering from some hard situation, so I couldn’t help making complaints about HIS arrangement: why did YOU make me suffer so much in this world? He sent a brother to me and began a new round of spiritual practice, which consolidated my belief and prevented me from sinking downward continuously. Then HE told me that I should hang on to HIS unchanging character through his messenger Rick Warren by his book The Purpose Driven Life. When I was down, I turned over a page of the book, and at the first sight, these words came into my eyes: Regardless of circumstances and how you feel, hang on to HIS unchanging character. And I am sure it was not a coincidence that Professor Wu was reading verses from the Scripture, so by my requirement, she began to read the sentence from the book and I was inspired so much! A poet has ever written: It isn’t raining rain to me—it’s raining daffodils; In every drop I see wildflowers upon the hills. A cloud of gray engulfs the day, and overwhelms the town; It isn’t raining rain to me—it’s raining roses down. HE is not raining rain on me—HE is raining blessings. It’s sure thing. Although I have been aware of what the future is, but HE has told that HE will prepare everything good for me. After the spiritual rain are the spiritual flowers. Amen! I don’t realize now what HE is doing, but later I will understand. My heavenly father, please make me lie down in green pastures, and lead me beside quiet waters. Even when the way goes through Death valley, I am not afraid when you walk at my side. Your rod and your staff, they comfort me. |
