Followership: A workshop with Joan Oliver Goldsmith

Without followers, the conductor has no instrument, the CEO no company. Yet our society undervalues the powerful contribution of followers, insisting on treating them as empty vessels into which a leader pours motivation and guidance. In fact, leader and follower have equally important but quite different roles in accomplishing great deeds. Through presentation, participative exercises and discussion, we will explore what constitutes great followership, and how to instill it in any organization, whether you have the title of leader or follower. The benefits can be enormous. Great followers insist on making great music.
