初级中学英语同义或者近义词（组）详解
英语资源 2010-06-01 17:54:00 阅读19 评论1 字号：大中小 英语中的同义词（组）可以分成三类。一、完全同义，可以换用，例如a lot of = lots of ；二、在表达某个意思时同义，这时它们可以换用，但它们可能还有各自的其它意思，例如：get to sw. = reach sw. 中的get to 与reach只有表示“到达”这一意思时同义；三、只是在字面意思上一样，但在表达实际意思时是有区别的，不可以换用，例如：walk across the road与walk through the hall中的walk across 与walk through的字面意思都是“穿过”，但它们却不能换用。 1、许多、很多：a lot of = lots of 后面跟复数名词相当于many，后面跟不可数名词相当于much。 2、非常、十分：a lot，very much 它们是两个相当于副词性质的短语，用来修饰动词。 3、两点十五：a quarter past two，two fifteen 实际上这反映英语中时间的两种表达方式，前一种是介词past, to表达法，后一种是直接数字表达法，例如：ten to ten = nine fifty, half past seven = seven thirty...... 4、一点：a bit，a little 它们的这个共同点是既可以修饰动词，例如：move a little = move a bit，也可以修饰形容词和副词，例如：a little small = a bit small。另外，如果它们要修饰名词（不可数），则 a little = a bit of 例如，a little water = a bit of water.... 5、一会儿之后： a moment later，after a moment/while, in a moment/while 类似的还有很多，例如“三天以后”可以用英语表示为：three days later = after three days, in three days……。只不过一定要记住：用...later或者after....的一般用在过去时中，而用in ....的一般用在将来时中。 6、 刚才：a moment ago，just now 7、到达：arrive in/at，get to，reach 8、 立刻、马上：at once，right now，right away，immediately 9、有时：at times，sometimes 10、最后：at last，in the end=finally 11、在中午：at noon，in the middle of a day 12、在那个时候：at that moment，at that time，just then， 13、在诊所：at the doctor's，in the doctor's office 14、全世界：all over the world，across the world，around the world，in the world 15、总是：always ，all the time 16、尽可能快地：as soon as possible，as quick as possible 17、为……而着急：be anxious about=be worried about 18、身体好： be fine，be well，be OK 19、来自：be from，come from 20、在家：be in，be at home 21、不在家： be not at home ，be out 22、……迟到：be late for，come late for 23、参观……：be on a visit to， visit 24、能……：be able to，can 25、应该：be supposed to , should 26、装满了……：be full of，be filled with 27、忙着干……： be busy doing sth.，be busy with sth. 28、高兴：be pleased，be glad，be happy 29、给某人买东西：buy sb.
