Let the classics be classics

With the rapid development of social economy, many people pay more attention to fashion but ignore the important and necessary about classics. There are so many common phenomena about this. For example, many young people prefer to listen to rock music rather than classical music. And they like romance novels, but pay little attention to literature. Therefore, classics gradually were forgotten by people, got backwardness and even disappear.

Actually, when it comes to classics, different people have different opinions about it. On the one hand, some people think that classics are obsolete, so they stopped paying attention. On the other hand, some people believe that the classics are classics. They hold their view is because classics stood the test of time. What's more, they represent the wisdom of the past. Therefore, they are to be treasured by people of all generations, ours being no exception.

As far as I'm concerned, I think that the classics are classics. There are several reasons that contribute to my thought. Firstly, as we all know, classics are the typical and authoritative writings which were chosen by history "most valuable book ". As an old saying goes, "A good book is a good friend. " We not only can learn the wisdom, but also can enrich our human knowledge by reading.Secondly, it helps us to improve ourselves which make us get along well with others. An old saying runs, " To live is to learn, to learn is to better live. " So, we should keep the good attitude of lifelong learning. Finally, if we can absorb the essence and discard the dross from the classics, we can avoid the unnecessary mistakes. We can achieve success in our life as soon as possible.

In a word, the classic is a kind of culture and wealth. It not only represents the wisdom of the past, but also it needs us to inject new power. So, let's learn the classics. Let the classics be classics.
