倒装句型
1．副词 + 不及物动词 + 主语 （+其它）
本句型多用于描述性文体，主语多是带有修饰语的名词，常用于本句型的副词有: here, now, then, there.
本句型中所用的动词大多为合成动词，即由不及物动词加表示方向的副词小品词构成，副词小品词提到句首可以增强语言效果。
* The window opened and in came a gentle breeze.
* Then came the day we had been looking forward to.
* Up went the rocket into the sky.
* Following the roar, out rushed a tiger from among the bushes.
* Here comes the telegraph we have just received.
* Then came the memory of that wonderful time at the sea-side.
* There lies a bright future before us.
* There lived an old hunter in that small hut.
* Once there lived an old fisherman in a village by the sea.
* Then opens an epoch of social reform.
* Now comes your turn.
* Here comes the old lady.
* There goes the bell. 2．介词短语+不及物动词+主语
本句型属于全部倒装，把介词短语置于句首，介词短语多数作时间或地点状语。
本句型中，如果主语是代词便不能用倒装语序。
* Under the tree were sitting a group of villagers.
* Through the fog loomed(朦胧出现) a castle.
* To the west of Malaysia lies India.
* On the bed was lying a wounded solider.
* After the war came the problem of employment.
* In front of the village flows a murmuring stream.
* At the top of the hills stands an old temple.

3. Such + be + 主语
本句型是为了强调表语或为了平衡而把表语放在句首，从而使句子全部倒装。
Such在本句型中是代词，在句中充当主语补足语, be的单复数形式取决于主语的数。
* Such is life!
* Such are the most powerful voices of our times!
* Such is not my intention.
* Such were his words.
* Such was her award.
* Such is the fact that some people achieve success very early in life, while others must work a long time before attaining their goals.
* He had never showed jealousy, vanity, or personal ambition. Such was Albert Einstein, a great scientist who lived a simple life.
* Such was his strength that he carried all the boxes onto the third floor.
4. 分词+ be + 主语 + 其它
* Fallen，fallen is Babylon, that great city. 陷落了，那个伟大的巴比伦城确是陷落了。
* Gone forever are the dark days of the old society.
* Marching at the head of the team was our teacher.
* Enclosed are some pictures I have just taken. 随信寄来几张近照。
* Sitting at her desk in deep concentration was my sister. She looked as though she had spent a sleepless night.
* Facing the lake was a little inn with a small garden.
* Listed below is estimated financial income of the government in 2000.
* Sitting around her were her children. 5. 形容词/副词/不定式+ be + 主语 + 其他
* First to unfold were the two 14-foot-wide drogue chutes首先打开的是那两个14英尺宽的拖靶斜槽（指飞机降落时的情形）。
* Black are the brooding clouds. 一团云块黑压压的。
* Far be it from me to scold him in any way. 我不会以任何方式训斥他的。
* How priceless is the gift of perfect health.
* Terribly hot it certainly was.
6. 副词+with+名词/代词
主要为祈使句
* Away with them! 拿走！
* Down with the picture!
* On with your clothes!
* Off with your caps!
7.直接引语+ 谓语 + 主语 + （直接引语）
* “What do you mean by that?” questioned George. (名词作主语)
* “Come on!” he shouted. (代词作主语)
8．Only + 状语 + 助动词/情态动词 + 主语+ 谓语
* Only then can we regard ourselves as having done our duty.
* Only in this way can we wipe out the enemy troops.
* Only when he returned home did he realize what had happened.
* Only a sound body can house a sound mind. (不倒装，为什么？)健全的头脑寓于健全的体魄。
* We can have the right to speak only after making investigations. (不倒装，为什么？)
9. 否定词+ 助动词/情态动词 + 主语+ 谓语
* Never had he had any experience like that.
* Not everyone can play the violin. (倒装否？)
* On no condition should we follow blindly. 我们决不应当盲从。
* Hardly did I think it possible.
* Seldom had she been asked to speak before such a big audience.
* Nowhere else has the world ever seen such great enthusiasm for learning English as in our country.

* No sooner…than/ Hardly …when/ Scarcely …when
* Not until I came back home did I knew what had happened.
注意neither A nor B 结构平行，逻辑一致问题
病句：She likes neither English nor to go to the cinema.
10. No matter how/However …, + 主句
* However weak the nation may be, it will never bend to a greater power.
* However/ No matter how difficult the task may be, we’ll fulfill it in time.
* No matter how busy she might be, she’ll have some sleep at noon.
* No matter what you say, I won’t believe you. 11. 表语+as…+主语+系动词
* Intelligent as you are, I suspect you will fail.
* Easy as you think it, it takes me a lot of trouble to do it.
* Rich as he is, he is not happy.
* Child as she is, she is brave and wise.
12. 虚拟语气中的倒装
Were/ Should + 主语+…, +主句
* Were it not for the atmosphere, the stars could be seen shining at any time.
* Should the weather be rough, we won’t be able to go riding.
* Had it not been for the rain, we could have done it ahead of time. 13. The more…, the more…
* The more she thought about it, the sadder she became.
* The more I see of her, the more I like her.

* The sooner, the better.
14. So + 形容词/副词 + 助动词/情态动词 +…+ that + 句子
* So dark are the shadows that a man standing there could not be seen.

* So dim was the light that we couldn’t see their faces clearly. 15. 肯定句， + so +助动词/情态动词+主语
否定句， + nor/neither助动词/情态动词+主语
