春天来了,你的马甲线还远吗

最近天气慢慢暖和起来啦,越来越多的人也开始为了消除游泳圈(spare tire/love handle)、啤酒肚(beer belly/ beer gut)而开始运动起来...那小编呢,也渐渐恢复了以前运动的习惯...

其实在最初,这个习惯的养成,并不是为了身体健康,而是为了能和歪果仁有话聊...(害羞状)

所以,想要勾搭歪果仁的小伙伴们or真的想要练好身体的小伙伴们,快来看看这些关于健身的常见用法吧...

首先,先说一下最近很红的人鱼线、马甲线的说法~~

人鱼线有三种说法:

1. Apollo's Belt 阿波羅的腰帶

2. Athlete's girdle運動員的腰帶

3. Adonis belt 阿多尼斯的腰带

什么,太多名字记不住?不用担心,小编这就告诉大家一个超简单说法,那就是:

V shape/ V line/ V cut

那怎么用呢?

I want to get that V-shape below my lower abs.
我想要锻炼出人鱼线。
I think I can develop a V-shaped core without the hassles of a gym.
我觉得我不去健身房,一样能锻炼出人鱼线!

那女生的马甲线又要怎么表达呢?很简单,就是firm abs

1.aerobics/ aerobic exercie/ cardio有氧运动

2. yoga 瑜伽/ pilates 普拉提

The difference betwen yoga and pilates is that yoga focuses more on your body flexibility while pilates focus on core strength.瑜伽和普拉提的不同在于瑜伽更锻炼身体的协调性,而普拉提则更注重核心肌群的锻炼。

3. public square dancing 广场舞(最接地气的运动)

When I am at my mom's age, I might do the public square dancing to keep fit. 等我到了我妈那个年纪,我或许也会开始跳广场舞来保持身材。

4. sit-up 仰卧起坐/ push-up(美式) 俯卧撑 /press-up(英式)俯卧撑

My new year resolution is that I will do 50 sit-ups and 50 push-ups a day. 我的新年愿望就是我要每天做50个仰卧起坐和50个俯卧撑

5.squat 深蹲

I think many girls are starting to do squats to make their butt look good. 现在好多女孩为了翘臀也开始做深蹲了。

6. crunch 卷腹

To get firm abs, doing crunches is one of the best choices.想要有马甲线,卷腹是其中一项比较有用的锻炼。

7. jogging 慢跑

When it gets warmer, I will start jogging again.等天气暖和点了,我就开始慢跑。

8.brisk walking 快步走

Jogging is too intense for me, I may just switch to brisk-walking. 慢跑太累了,我还是换成快走吧。

2. work out 锻炼身体

The work-out session in the gym usually lasts for about 30 minutes. 健身房里的健身课一般是30分钟左右。

而work out有一个更口语更形象的用法,叫做burn caloties。把脂肪烧掉,其实就是锻炼的意思。所以你可以说:

I just had a whole block of chocolate, so I really need to go burn some calories.

3.warm up 热身

Before we start jogging, we need to warm up our body a little bit. 我们在慢跑前,需要先热身。

跟warm up相对的就是cool down,它是指在激烈运动后的缓和运动,为了让身体恢复平常的节奏的缓和运动。这个词怎么用呢?

After such an intense work-out, now we have to cool down by stretching our bodies. 在强度运动后,现在我们来拉伸一下我们的身体,让身体慢慢平静下来。

4.to pump some iron=to lift weights for exercise 举哑铃

iron是铁的意思,而一般我们用的哑铃都是铁做的。而pump有用抽水机抽的意思,引申义就是举起。所以这句话非常形象地表述了我们把哑铃举起来的过程。
