A vegetable market near my house, there are three chicken sales stalls. The business of two of them just keep jogging along. In comparison, the other stall is of good business with consumers shutting back and forth all day. 我家附近的一间菜市场里，有三个卖鸡肉的摊位，其中两家生意平平，而另一家的摊位前，整日人流穿梭，络绎不绝。
最初，我不明就里，想买一副鸡架回家煲汤，直奔人少的一家。
年约六十的摊主慢吞吞地放下手机，站起来问：“只要鸡架吗？”
从我嘴里得了肯定答案后，摊主想是心里不爽，爱搭不理地抄起放在最上面的一副肉色已经不太鲜亮的鸡架，扔到秤上，粗声大气地报数——“五块八”。
我眼睛盯着放在下面的鸡架，“这块不太新鲜了，换一块好吗？”
看摊的老爷子不乐意了，嘴里嘟囔，“就几块钱的东西，还要挑挑拣拣，真难伺候。”
At the very moment of being despised, I really fell into a rage and I’d like to turn away immediately. After seeing that the elder had already packed the chicken frames all by himself, I had to endure it and took the bag. 被鄙视的那一刻，真想掉头就走，但看老爷子已经自作主张地把鸡架装好了袋，只好忍气接了过来。
Thereafter, I never visit the stall any more. 这以后，我再也没有光顾过这个摊位。
就在相邻摊位，把生意做得一派红火的，是一对三十岁上下的小夫妻俩。
No matter how many guests their stall will be, you can always hear warm greetings. “Elder sister, welcome !” then apologized with smile and passed me a tongs and plastic bag , “it’s a little busy at this moment. And you just choose what you want and I will help you later. ” 不管摊位前的顾客再多，踱步过去，总能听到他们热情地招呼，“姐，您来啦。”然后抱歉地笑笑，伸手递过来一个夹子一个塑料袋，“这会儿有点忙，您先选着，我一会儿就给您收拾。”
排在前面的一位也是买鸡架。
小伙子从鸡架堆里翻翻拣拣，择出两块肉多肥油少的，掂在手里笑着问花白头发的顾客，“阿姨，您看这两块怎样？留的鸡胸肉都够炒一盘菜了。”
阿姨乐了，“这肉还真着实。”
小伙子手上不停，麻溜处理。嘴上不厌其烦地问，“脖子上的鸡皮要不要替您去掉？”、“这几块肥油是给您留着还是切掉？”、“您是用来炖汤的吧，我要不直接给您剁成块，省得您回家再动案板了？”......
结账，十块零八毛。
阿姨没有零钱，递过来一张百元大钞，小伙子从零钱箱里找回九十块钱。
The auntie declined, “Oh, you are so careless. You didn’t count the left 0.8 yuan?” 阿姨推让，“哎哟，这孩子粗枝大叶的，还有八毛，怎么忘了算上？”
The young said with a grin, “You have no small change on hand, and forget it. Never mind and there is a long time ahead.” 小伙子咧嘴笑了，“没带零钱，块八毛的就算了，您别放在心上，来日方长。”
顾客千恩万谢地拎着剁好的鸡架转身，夫妻俩异口同声地招呼——“阿姨慢走。”
Hidden in marketplace, such great shopping experience makes you feel relaxed and comfortable just like a bring breeze. 这样藏于市井的良好购物体验，让人如沐春风。
不会因为只买了三块钱的鸡肝，尊重打折。 不会因为客人挑挑拣拣不高兴，服务变脸。 不会因为一单小生意所挣不多，锱铢必较。 更不会因为顾客事先不问价格，结账掺水。
No matter how much the guest will buy, more or less, all the guest get is the equal respect and dedicated service no matter he/she is critical or easy-going.
无论顾客买多还是买少，是挑剔还是随和，得到的，都是同样的尊重和尽心尽力的服务。
人敬我一尺，我还人一丈。这叫人怎么能不心甘情愿地再次光顾？生意的路也越走越宽。
日子一长，这家菜市场里的“海底捞”回头客越来越多，生意自然越发红火。我猜，他家摊位的收入少说也高过临近摊位的两倍。 我买菜时经常路过他家的摊位，什么时候看过去，都能看见小两口虽然忙忙碌碌，但脸上始终带笑，是那种发自内心的快乐的笑。偶有闲暇时候，小媳妇儿趴在小伙子肩上，两人一起看存在手机里的视频，两颗微微歪向对方的脑袋靠在一起，生活淡中得味，远远看过去，那画面朴素，但不胜温暖。
我喜欢这些把平凡日子过得有滋有味的普通人。
In a small bland and common livelihood, two contended and satisfied hearts are put in. I always guess that how could they be willing to dull all their lives at the young age! 一桩平淡无奇的小生计里，安放的是两颗知足常乐的平常心。我常常揣度，以他们不大的年龄，怎么甘于平淡，甘于市井一生！
As you know, in the present China, you can see unwillingness and complaints everywhere. Those complain for being insipid, not living up his/her talents, being born in the wrong time, all people in the world…… And they owe all responsibilities and mistakes to others and turn a blind eye to themselves. 要知道，在如今的中国，随处可拾的就是不甘和抱怨。不甘现实，不甘平淡，抱怨怀才不遇，抱怨生不逢时，抱怨天下人皆负我……所有的责任和错误都是别人的，少有对自己的检讨和指责。
白岩松说：真实的人生不会天天都在放礼花，也不会天天都送玫瑰花。我们必须接受一个生活的真相，那就是平淡，90%以上的日子都将归于平淡，90%以上的人生注定波澜不惊。而几乎所有的不平淡，都是在忍耐了足够多的平淡之后方才诞生的。可是又有多少人能够心甘情愿地接受通往不平凡之前的漫长平淡呢？
Even though the most brightest stars in the central of the stage, they can’t achieve grandeur in one day, such as Kobe, Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo. Actually, they have made a lot of efforts to gain their present game and reputation, leading a dull and tedious life day after day, taking arduous training from sunrise to sunrise and being highly self-disciplined like a Puritan from daily diet, lifestyle to personalities and habits…… I’m afraid, for them, a free sleep must be a rare luxury. Four o’clock a.m. in Log Angeles, the unrevealed iceberg beneath the sea is what they really look like in real life. Who knows what they have suffered!
即使是站在舞台最中央的明星，光彩耀眼如科比、梅西、C罗，伟大也并非一日炼成，成就他们今日江湖地位的，是日复一日枯燥乏味的生活：从早到晚的艰苦训练，清教徒般的高度自律——从饮食起居、生活作息到性情习惯……对他们而言，恐怕就连一个自由随性的懒觉也是少有的奢侈品。凌晨四点的洛杉矶，冰山藏在海面下不显山不露水的大部分，才是他们真正的生活模样。鬼知道他们经历了什么！
想站上人生的更高处，还得从做好眼前事开始吧。 两天前，我再去买鸡肉。
小伙子一脸喜气，小媳妇儿嘴里一直哼着歌，我向他俩打趣，“今天有什么美事，怎么格外高兴？” 小伙子喜不自禁地小声告诉我，“姐，前段时间，我在别处的市场又盘下来两个摊位，叫了在老家务农的弟弟妹妹过来，生意不错，昨天盘点，挣得不少呢，弟弟妹妹算是在这个城市扎下根来了。”
我由衷地向他们道喜，凭借自己的勤劳淳朴，他们不但收获了越来越有起色的生活，也帮助家人改写了面朝黄土背朝天的宿命。
小媳妇儿犹豫了一下，问我，“姐，我俩打算再好好干上两年，攒些钱，争取开个小超市，您看有没有希望?”小伙子补充，“可以接受网上下单，管送货那种小超市。”
“当然有希望啊，只要你们本色不改，继续合理定价、做好服务，生意也一定会越来越好的。“
See, accept ordinary doesn’t mean that you are satisfied with it. You still own dream and you are approaching them one step after another. Fighting! Dream-chasers! 看，接受平淡，并非安于平淡。理想不是没有，正在一步步地靠近。加油！追梦人！
