👩‍🏫 一、食物的口感篇

-What kind of flavor you like in your food?

你喜欢什么口味的食物？

酸——acidic / sour

-I don't like grapes. They are sour .我不喜欢葡萄，它们有酸味。

甜——sweet / sugary

- I like apples. They are sweet.我喜欢苹果，它们是甜的。

苦——bitter 

-The Chinese medicine tastes rather bitter!这中药苦极了。

辣——spicy / hot 

-The curry is too hot.这咖喱太辣了。

咸——salty

-The sauce is much too salty. 酱太咸了。

淡——bland / mild / tasteless

-He eats a bland diet for fitness.他为健身而吃清淡食。

脆——crisp

油腻——greasy

美味的——savory / delish / exquisite / luscious

1.Savory“好吃的，体面的”，可用来形容比较“精致的、美味的”食物。

-Savory crackers with cheese make a great snack.

美味的脆饼加上芝士就做成了一道可口的小吃。

2.Delish“美味的”，它是delicious的非正式简写形式。

-Mmmm! This orange is delish! 

哇！这个橘子太好吃了。

3.Exquisite“精美的、精致的”，指食物“口感细腻、独特，高雅上乘”。

-The desserts that combine fresh fruit with fine 

pastry is exquisite.

这个加有新鲜水果的精致油酥甜点非常美味。

4.Luscious“满足感官的”，可形容食物或饮品醇厚可口，也可特指水果甘甜多汁。

-Take a slice of bread and layer it with luscious 

tomatoes, basil, mushrooms and garlic. 

仅需在面包片上铺上一层饱满多汁的西红柿、罗勒叶、蘑菇和大蒜。

难吃的——tough / gross / unsavory / cardboard

1.Tough“难切开的，嚼不动的”，形容食物时，主要用来形容肉质太老、不好吃。（可千万不能用“old”来形容肉老哈，那可就笑死老外了~）

- I find it very Oily and Greasy and tough.

我觉得太油腻了，肉太难嚼了。

2.Gross“令人恶心的，使人憎恶的”，可形容食物的整体口感。

-This stuff is so gross it makes you want to puke.

这东西太恶心了，让我想呕吐。

3.Unsavory“不好吃的，难闻的”，形容看起来不雅观，没什么味道的食物。

-The salad was unsavory.

这个沙拉难吃极了。

4.Cardboard“硬纸板，纸质箱”，当形容食物时，可比喻食物“没味道、味同嚼蜡”。

-That pizza tastes like cardboard.

那披萨吃起来形同嚼蜡般。
