田纳西，美国乡村音乐的圣地。

以“田纳西”命名的经典音乐有老牌歌后Patti Page唱红的《Tennessee Waltz》和德国配乐大师Hans Zimmer为电影《珍珠港》创作的《Tennessee》。

其实还有一首老歌，经过重新演绎，不仅歌曲再次走红，连歌手也创造了一连串的佳绩，可谓神奇。

这就是《Tennessee Whiskey》。田纳西威士忌是非常好的烈酒，美国乡村音乐词曲作家 Dean Dillon 和 Linda Hargrove 以此创作了歌曲。乡村歌手David Allan Coe于1981年首先唱响。1983年乡村歌王George Jones也有了自己的演绎，拿下了乡村榜的亚军。

而创造神奇的当属美国乡村歌手 Chris Stapleton！

Chris Stapleton嗓音高亢嘹亮，沙哑迷人，非常有质感，充满着西部歌手的那股韧劲儿和力量。2015年在美国乡村音乐协会颁奖典礼上与Justin Timberlake合作，让此曲知名度一举冲天：不仅迅速登上乡村榜的冠军宝座，也替他赢得了2015年CMA“最佳男歌手”“最佳新人”及“年度最佳专辑”三项大奖；并在2016夺得“最佳乡村专辑”“最佳乡村歌曲个人演唱”两座格莱美奖，可谓一战成名！
