如果在国外迷路

人生地不熟的环境下就容易说错话

一紧张，就把“迷路”说成了 'get lost'！

get lost

'get lost' 在口语中常表达“滚开；走开”的意思。但如果你真的迷路了，语气稍微放柔和些，其实大部分老外都能理解的。

如果在后面加上 'in'，又是另一番含义。'get lost in' 的意思是“沉迷于...；沉醉其中”，因为这里的 'lost' 是“全神贯注的”意思。

'Get lost, will you, Derrick? I m tired of listening to your nonsense.'

滚开好吗，Derrick？我听腻了你的废话。

'We want you to get lost in reading.'

我们希望你沉浸在阅读当中。

feel lost

'feel lost' 里的 'lost' 是“失落的；丧失信心的”意思，那么 'feel lost' 应该理解为“感到迷茫；怅然若失”。

'Ever since mom died, I feel so lost.'

自从妈妈去世后，我感到很失落。

lost and found 

切记，不要把 'lost and found' 理解为两个动词。其实它是“失物招领处”，在国外很多商场或公共场合都可以看见的~

'I ll go back to the mall tomorrow and check the lost and found for my glasses.'

我明天回商场去看看失物招领处有没有我的眼镜。

 lose my head 

'lose' 是 'lost' 的原型，那么 'lose my head' 是“我的头不见了”？别，别想的那么可怕 它是“失控”的意思，因为 'head' 除了“脑袋”，还有另一个重要的理解，就是 'your mind or mental ability'，指你的“思考和思维能力”。

'I m sorry, I lost my head out there.'

对不起，我在外面失控了。

② go the wrong way 走错路
