①lemon:an artifact (especially an automobile) that is defective or unsatisfactory lemon的一种英语释义是:有缺陷或不令人满意的人工制品(尤指汽车) lemon可以用来表示残次商品,最初是用于描述汽车的。 所以“My phone is a lemon”真正的意思是“这手机不咋地/这手机不好用”。 He took a little test drive and agreed the car was a lemon. This car is a total lemon. It's a waste of money. You are a lemon. I just stood there like a lemon. I was green with envy at his remarkable achievement. He says he didn't want to get that prize, but that's just sour grapes. 1. peach 讨人喜欢的人,好人 You're a peach. She is a peach to work with. Tom'll get the chance to have an interview by the top banana.
