假定你是李华,你校将举办外国学生中文演讲比赛,请给你的英国朋友George写封邮件

题型解读

应用文写作主要考查学生英语语言的实际应用能力,该题型写作目的明确,测试学生在实际生活情景下运用英语传达信息,表达观点的能力,题目侧重英语语言的交际性和实用性。应用文写作文体以书信(邮件)类为主,这类应用文通常出现提纲式要点,话题常常与学生的校园实际生活相关。此次浙江新高考英语写作部分第一题应用文写作考查的方向是邀请信。

“I’m going to miss you so much, Poppy,” said the tall, thin teenager. He bent down to hug his old friend goodbye. He stood up, hugged his parents, and smiled, trying not to let his emotions(情绪) get the better of him.

His parents were not quite able to keep theirs under control. They had driven their son several hours out of town to the university where he would soon be living and studying. It was time to say goodbye for now at least. The family hugged and smiled through misty eyes and then laughed.

The boy lifted the last bag onto his shoulder, and flashed a bright smile. “I guess this is it,” he said. “I’ll see you back home in a month, okay?” His parents nodded, and they watched as he walked out of sight into the crowds of hundreds of students and parents. The boy’s mother turned to the dog, “Okay, Poppy, time to go back home.”

The house seemed quiet as a tomb without the boy living there. All that week, Poppy didn’t seem interested in her dinner, her favorite toy, or even in her daily walk. Her owners were sad too, but they knew their son would be back to visit. Poppy didn’t.

They offered the dog some of her favorite peanut butter treats. They even let her sit on the sofa, but the old girl just wasn’t her usual cheerful self. Her owners started to get worried. “What should we do to cheer Poppy up?” asked Dad. “We’ve tried everything.”

“I have an idea, but it might be a little crazy,” smiled Mom. “Without anybody left in the house but us, this place could use a bit of fun. Let’s get a little dog for Poppy.

It didn’t take long before they walked through the front door carrying a big box. Poppy welcomed them home as usual but when she saw the box, she stopped. She put her nose on it. Her tail began wagging(摆动)ever so slowly, then faster as she caught the smell.

续写思路分析

1. 前文概要:“男孩”将要踏入大学校园生活,依依不舍地与父母以及他的“朋友”波比(宠物狗)告别。“男孩”走后,波比陷入抑郁状态,为了重新唤回富有生命力的波比,“男孩”的父母为他找到了另一个“伙伴”……

Dad opened the box and a sweet little dog appeared. Poppy approached with caution, trying not to scare the puppy. Sure enough, it was only moments later that the ball of fur lifted its head out of the boxto peek at its new home and its new friend. Mom and Dad watched delightedly as the two made acquaintances. They were glad to see Poppy coming back to her usual self, guiding the little dog on daily walks and even introducing to it her favorite toys.

A few weeks later, the boy arrived home from university. Hearing his bags unloaded on the driveway, Poppy’s ears pricked up and suddenly she was on all fours. The boy was greeted with a cheerful high-pitched bark. Then the front door popped open and Poppy darted to his embrace, followed by the little one who licked his fingers fondly. Smiling ever so bright, he called out to his parents, who tugged him in for a long hug. Despite the chill autumn wind, their home was filled with the warmth of love and reunion.

Gradually, Poppy calmed down and watched the little dog with tenderness, as if she were a dedicated mother. The parents were moved to tears by the sweetness of the dogs mixed, with their yearning for their sons’ return.

A few weeks later, the boy arrived home from university. He darted into the house like an arrow and shouted in a cheerful voice: “Mom, Dad, Poppy!” Naturally, he threw himself into his parents’ arms andhugged them tightly. With resounding bark, Poppy twisted her body dramatically, bouncing up to the height of the boy’s knees, constantly licking his hand. Strange it might seem, she suddenly turned around and ran away. The boy curiously followed and saw the sweet little dog curled in a kennel. As a precious gift, the sweet warmed the cockles of their heart.
