便秘是一件非常痛苦的事情，但每个人多多少少都会有过便秘，今天的内容就是由这个便秘而展开的一系列故事，没错，就是老爹便秘了，他痛苦极了。 场景一： Well，I thought you were constipation. 我以为你是便秘。  constipation： Is a medical condition which causes people to have difficulty getting rid of solid waste from their body. Do you suffer from constipation? 你便秘吗？ 老爹看着门外说了一句：show off，意思是指“臭显摆”一种因虚荣心作祟的炫耀。 英英释义： If you say that someone is showing off, you are criticizing them for trying to impress people by showing in a very obvious way what they can do or what they own. 卖弄; 炫耀 [表不满] All right, there's no need to show off. 好啦，没有必要炫耀了。 She wanted to show off her new husband at the party. 她想在聚会上炫耀自己的新婚丈夫。 场景二： 当老爹进厕所很久都没有出来，媳妇非常担心他，询问是不是出了什么事情，老爹说：  Stop making such a big deal out of it.I just can't go to the bathroom. 别大惊小怪，我只不过是拉不出来而已（因此走不出卫生间） 这里的“make a big deal out of...”是指“大惊小怪”，与此相对应的还有“not a big deal”，意思是“不是什么大事，没什么大不了的”。 Generally speaking, stomach ache is not a big deal. 一般来说胃疼没什么大事。 If they don't turn out to be scientists, that's not a big deal. 如果没有把他们培养成科学家，那也没啥了不起.
