这一句话很难听出, 但是根据上下句, 以及Bernadette的表情, 可以很容易猜出大致的意思: 去做什么? 做xxx吗? (这个xxx肯定是一件很不酷, 很没啥用, 很尴尬地, 一般很俗气的人想出来的用于拆散别人的事)

你瞧, 上边括号里就是我根据上下文做的推断, 这一句我也不懂啥意思, 显然shake a can of nicklel是有某种引申义的.

好, 那我现在去查一查.

嗯, 查了一会, 发现这不是一个phrase, 而是一个, well, I don’t know what to call it~

就是人们训练狗的时候, 会用到这个办法. 摇晃一罐硬币在狗狗面前. 那么这里的笑点就是: B作为生物学家, 讲了这么一个梗, 意思是Sheldon和Nowitzki都是成年人, 我们过去能说啥. 他们又不是小狗狗, 我们可以摇晃一下一罐硬币, 他们就乖乖按我们的心意来了.
